Rio Brands 17" Extended Height 4-Position Folding Beach, Camping, Lawn Chair, Blue/White/Green

My Hubs and I both like these chairs for their high backs, foam covered tubing for the neck or head depending on your height, and the convenience features built in on the arms! They sit on our balcony, but they will also be going to the beach in my collapsible wagon! I REALLY like the attached bag for sunblock and personal items. Out of sight, out of mind! It will even hold an ice pack and a couple of cans of your favorite beverage! These are FAR more comfortable than the very short “sand chairs” which are unsuitable for the elderly Ike us! They don’t have the bar under the thighs that is so uncomfortable in cheaper chairs, either! Living in a coastal city means frequent beach time and hard use year-round, and I fully expect these chairs to hold up far better than others I have looked at. They have quality stitching and they match perfectly. The seat does not sag under my 200+ lb. husband. I like the cell phone holder to keep it out of the sand and watchable, and of course a drink holder to stay hydrated. I may also put a smaller sports towel in the bag for travel and have one less loose item to deal with. It is a thoughtful addition! HIGHLY recommended!

Purchased primarily for 17" leg height, as well as higher than usual back support. These are very well built, durable, and attractive. The cell phone case is insulated to keep electronics cool. Cup holder is great. Purchased two. I compared prices with chairs from big box stores, and the price to quality comparison made these a winner by a mile. They are heavy, you may want to consider getting a wagon for ease of transport.

I purchased this chair for my Mom for her birthday. It is perfect. It is a light bit higher for sitting down. Perfect for an older individual. Also, the back is higher, which is terrific for anyone. Mom will use this chair as a lawn chair for gatherings, but, this would also be a terrific beach chair, too. The long shoulder strap would make toting this chair to the beach so easy. Mom loves the wide arm rests, the cup holder, and the phone holder. The little compartment that hangs off the chair is insulated, but, is perfect for sunglasses, tissues, etc. Two of these products purchased together would be a wonderful, thoughtful anniversary present for any age group. Good quality chair for the beach. It is easy to carry with the attached strap. It is a good height for adults and comfortable for a good long stay at the beach.Recommend!

I really love this chair because it's aluminum, so it's light, sturdy (up to 250 lbs) and it won't rust. LOVE the fabric and colors. The features are great with a spot for your cell phone and a cup holder that fits a can or 500 ml water bottle surrounded by a foam cup cozy. Very important is that the seat bottom is high so it's very easy to get in and out of (compared to your typical low to the ground beach chair).The chair has 4 positions for sitting upright to reclining, with the most reclined position shown in the picture (I'd guess around 45 degrees or so).The only negative is that the seat back is not tall enough because when I recline to the lowest position, my head is resting on the bar (I'm 5'9"). On a positive note, they did put a foam surround around the bar, so it's better than your head resting on a bare bar. However, just making the seat back a few more inches taller would have made this chair just perfect.

I finally needed a new Rio beach chair after years with my other one. It finally broke, so I had to order another. Rio chairs are more expensive because they are very durable and last a long time. I am getting older, so I had to buy the higher chair, which I absolutely love. I still get the feel of the sand and water, just higher up. Very comfortable as well. Highly recommend!!!!

Love this chair. Had one a few years ago but it eventually rusted from too much salt water life and was super happy to find it again. Very sturdy with thick seat and back; perfect height for this "mature" woman. Love the phone slot and attached pouch. Just wish the cup holder were a little deeper. Good value for the time it will last.
