Desktop Tetherball: It’s a Wrap!

I bought this for my kid because he loved tetherball at summer camp so much that he asked if we could have one at home. Knowing it would only be used a few times (if that) I opted for this desktop version primarily as a joke this Christmas. I wasn’t expecting anything special for the price but was pleasantly surprised! The pole is real metal and screws together tightly and securely. The ball is soft foam so doesn’t hurt when swinging around but has a nylon coating to protect it from breaking apart. The string is a nice thick grade string tied very well. The base has a felt button to protect surfaces too. We’ve been playing for a few days now (pretty agressively) and everything is still holding together as new. My only critique is the base doesn’t come with any way to secure it down, so sometimes it would topple over. We simply “fixed” this by having a player hold it down with their other, non-playing hand. Problem solved. The little booklet is a cute, humorous read as well. Was a perfect stocking stuffer this Christmas.

Talk about a throwback to my elementary school days when we would BOLT to the tetherball pole for recess! Love love love it!! I have it on my WFH desk and when a meeting gets dull, I play a round! So fun. And the little quirky book is cute too.

People had fun with this simple game instead of playing with their cellphones.

Fun gag gift for someone

This is too cute to have to play with and get my mind off work for a few minutes during a busy workday. It also reminds me of when I was a kid playing tetherball during recess. Best game ever!

Fun and cute desk toy. Unfortunately, our loop holding the tether ball snapped off before a week of having it.

When I ordered this, there were only a small number of reviews, which usually dissuades me, but at the low price, I went for it. This little thing did not disappoint! The base is weighted, so under normal play, it stands up. The ball is dense foam and seems sturdy. I took it to work, and my coworkers loved it. Fun and nostalgic.

Bought as a gift. Recipient loves it!

This was the perfect stocking stuffer gift and it was a lot of fun.

Fun little stocking filler, gave it 4 stars as me and my partner tried it out and the bottom part can to with being slightly heavier so it’s harder to topple but still I can see my son having lots of fun with this if he doesn’t play with it to harshly

La idea es buena, pero la ejecución deja un poco que desear, después de poco menos de un mes se uso la rosca de la base dio de si, y el poste quedo inclinado y ya ni de decoración sirve. Una lastima.
