Precision cuts
This is the second pair of these that I’ve purchased. I actually cut my own hair with them because they’re so sharp. I have a pair that I use for my collage work because I can get precision cuts with them. I cut out tiny pieces from old magazines and people find it hard to believe that I actually use scissors to do it—many people use an X-Acto-type blade or a scalpel. They’re great!

I love these little scissors
I love these little scissors. They cut as they are intended and the curve makes it easy to use them to clip threads close to fabric without accidentally nipping the project you have worked so hard on. My only complaint is that the handles don't last as long as the blades......the yellow ring is rubbery and will keep your fingers from slipping and will cushion them effectively, but it wears out and falls out well before you are ready to discard the whole scissor.......unfortunately the handles have a groove in them for the yellow rubber to fit into and once the rubber wears out and is gone the groove is uncomfortable on your fingers when you try to cut. The grey handle is plastic and eventually it gets brittle and snaps, making it impossible to use the scissors at all. I tried glue on them, but they just break again. That's the reason I have purchased so many of these over the years. I do a tremendous amount of sewing, mending and yarn work, so my scissors get lots of use and I have learned to buy several pairs of these each time because I have never found a scissor I like better......just wish they would make them to last longer.

These scissors are sharp, y'all!
These are the most sturdy and sharp little scissors I have ever had. They snip and cut extremely well. You do not need to use much force or effort when cutting things - I have used them as a box cutter and they open it up faster than a razor. I like these scissors. I ordered several different sizes and am pleased with the product overall. I would highly recommend them as they are great for the knitters, crafters, cross stitchers, and sewers of the world. All the other fancy sewing scissors take a back seat to these scissors - they are designed not to wear out or break. Built tough and sturdy.

Not as sharp as my old pair when new
I bought a pair of these years ago, and they were extremely sharp and I loved them. It came time to replace them, so I bought the same pair, but they are just not as sharp as I remember my last pair. Still good embroidery scissors.

Sharp, precise and perfect for so many tasks
I thought these were discontinued and am so glad to have found replacements for the pair I lost. It’s hard to find such sharp scissors with curved blades. These are perfect for close trimming of threads or yarn without risking catching in fabric or stitching that you DON’T want to cut!

Small but very nice.
It’s a nice size for my takeaway kits. They also cut felt easily. The price is right too.

Love them but hit or miss on smoothness
I have bought so many of these scissors over the years multiple times a year. Nowadays it's a hit or miss on the pair you get. Sometimes they are smooth and sometimes they are so hard. Other than that if you get a pair they cut so well specially applique. They are so hard to find in store so purchasinf in amazon is easier but it sucks because you cannot try if the are smooth. For every 3 I buy I end up returning a pair because they are not smooth.
