We ordered this to put on our deck and enjoy a nice little toasty fire on those chilly evenings in the spring and fall During those hot summer cookouts, we plan to also use it to keep the adult beverages ice cold for everyone. The versatility of this fire pit / ice bucket made it a very appealing addition for us.The box the fire pit arrived in was very heavy, over 30 pounds. When I opened it to make sure we received all the parts, there were a lot of pieces. Around 25 to 30 I'd say. At first glance it could definitely be intimidating. But, as you start looking at the pieces, you'll notice that each part is labeled with a letter. When seeing the assembly instructions, they are very clear and detailed, and setup took me less than an hour.The metal pieces are very strong. None of the metal had any sharpness which I could have cut myself on. I suggest checking for that before getting into the assembly just to be sure that you do not accidentally cut yourself. The package of hardware includes a screwdriver, and a few extra screws just in case you need them, a definite plus!Since we received this we have used it a few times so far. We have enjoyed using it to have some roasted marshmallows and smores so far. Also sitting around the fire with a quilt on is so cozy and toasty. I am confident this fire pit / ice bucket will provide years and years of fun and good times. I decided to go with the 32-inch version rather than the 34-inch version, and I would rather have the 34 just for a bigger footprint.When you start taking this out of the box, be careful because these pieces tend to be pretty heavy, but they’re very well wrapped in plastic, so there are no issues there.The poker IS SHORT.The package itself is actually pretty heavy, at 32 pounds, so depending on where you’re going to put this in your yard, you definitely will not need any added weight.After seeing how big the actual fire pit is, I wish it were a little bit bigger so you could either put more wood or charcoal in it.Chances are you’ve probably chopped the wood in smaller pieces because the actual footprint itself is not that big.I gave myself a SOLID and one and a half to two hours to put everything together because this would take time.It’ll be a creative project for your afternoon.The one big downside to either the 32 or 34, in my opinion, is that the actual fire pit itself is not that big. I would prefer it to be a little bit deeper; too much weight on the metal over time.The top part has a nice touch, but the only bad thing I’ve noticed so far is the wood has to be pretty low in all the way. Just be careful about that and experiment with wood.I recommend chopping up pieces and constructing them that way. Although the poker they include is suitable for putting this on top, I would like it to be at least 2 to 3 feet longer to be safe.Overall, for the price, you can’t go wrong for a summer and fall winter of fun.

the initial shaping assembly was annoying. some of the screw holes didn't match up exactly and I still am not sure why, i left some of the screws out because of this. after the first two steps though it was easier to assemble and it went by quickly. it is such a pretty fireplace and i like that it has space around the edges to place drinks or toes. i recommend, overall!

Great fire pit. Very sturdy and durable. Was easy to assemble and came with everything you need to do the job. The instructions are easy to understand. I'm so happy I was able to receive this fire pit it is a great size and it comes with a rain cover and poker. My kids love making s'mores with it and my husband and I love cozying up to a late night fire with it. I definitely recommend buying this fire pit.

Assembly is pretty standard for this type of item. From unpacking to building to clean up took about 30 minutes. It includes everything needed to assemble so no need to search for tools. Once built the top is soild and sturdy. The edge around the bowl is decent sized and depending on your fire allows for feet to rest on it.with no bowing or cheap feeling. The design is detailed and well made. It does include a cover, log poker, and screen making it a great value. It is advertised as a 3 in 1 which may be a little misleading, it can be used as an ice bucket but ice will melt very quick in any type heat as the bowl is not insulated in anyway and for the BBQ feature is doesn't include the grate so you will need to purchase that separately. Overall for the quality, price included screen and cover this firepit is a great addition to any outside area for relaxing.

We’ve been living this fire pit on these chilly spring nights. My husband assembled it in about 45 mins. It comes with a packaged tool kit (screw driver, wrench, screws) which was helpful! But we found a drill to be a much faster way to assemble. Assembly was very easy with included instructions. Once assembled it’s a nice looking centerpiece. We had not problem with stacking regular firewood and building a warm fire. Also, because the pit is raised off the ground, the rug/deck beneath it did not burn. It could also work in short grass if needed. It also came with a cloth cover, which will get good use at our house due to weather fluctuations in the Midwest. On the whole we love it and seems like a very good price for such a nice piece.

This fire pit was easy to assemble with easy to understand instructions and properly labeled pieces. I've had fire pits that didn't have a ledge around them before, but I think I like this one much better. It's sturdy and, with the ledge, a good size. The pit where you put the wood is a little smaller than my previous one but it's still enough space for a small fire. The material feels durable & everything included seems to be good quality.
