Grohe 33782000 Tap for K4 Kitchen Sink

Needed a tap in a hurry so Amazon of course for reliability. Had recently purchased a Grohe tap for my utility room and was so pleased with it that I thought I would buy the same make for my kitchen. The quality is brilliant, the flow on both taps is great, no splashing all over the place. This one looks a bit funky which I like as I am a thoroughly modern over 70 grandma. I didn't realise this one had a pull-out hose like my other tap, added bonus. Would absolutely recommend, expensive but well worth it if you are not on too tight a budget, also come with a good grohe guarantee.

Nice tap, but quality control not what it should be. Initially no water would come out. On investigation we found that the non-return valve in the spray head was back to front. Taking the spray head apart and re-inserting the valve the right way round cured the problem

brill - though the colour on the tap is marked the opposite way to UK plumbing standards. e.g. hot and cold the wrong way round.

looks good in the picture. main body is solid chrome plated brass but end nozzle is plastic, not chrome like the body. Pull out nozzle leaks and water comes out of everywhere. Wouldn't have expected this from a reputable brand.

Beautiful tap. Almost makes washing up a pleasure! My only comment is that my plumber had to go and buy some small parts to fit it as not everything he needed was supplied.

I agree completely with the review above.This tap looks a million dollar and operates like a £20 one.In fact it is worse than my old £40 B&Q tap which it replaces.I have it for just 12 months and the swivel spout is so stiff I can hardly turn it.The aerator is not as efficient as it should be.The Grohe logo on the body of the tap has completely gone after just 4 months.Sometimes I just wonder whether the one I have is a genuine article as it differs so much from the brilliant Grohe description above.Update:23/03/2017I contacted Grohe UK regarding the problem.Their engineer phoned me back the same day leaving a message on my answer phone informing me that they have ordered a new tap and will contact me again to replace my tap when they receive the new tap.A week later,the engineer came to my house and replaced the tap for me.He was very professional,helpful and thorough and is a credit to the company.The new tap seems to be working alright.I am very impressed by their customer service (5 stars) although it would have been better if all this was not necessary.

Great quality product BUT delivered with a mark on the chrome.

Not the quality I expected from Grohe. The aerated flow is poor despite the pressure being suifficient. The swivel tap head is too tight and seems to be poorly aligned.
