I purchased the black heavyweight in Queen size.I love down comforters but I’m not a fan of putting them in duvets. I’ve had white down comforters in the past but white is not good when it gets stained and it can yellow overtime.When I saw they make down comforters in other color options, I was excited as I prefer not to have to use a duvet and I want something that isn’t going to yellow over time.This is a true black color.Fabric is 100% cotton which is very important to me as I don’t like the feel of microfiber/polyester. The comforter is not overwhelming soft but it’s not scratchy either. I’d describe it as a slightly softer then percale cotton which to me I like as it feels crisp. I’d assume it will also soften more over time.Nearly all down comforters are going to lose some feathers here and there. I’ve owned multiple down comforters and everyone has lost feathers. It’s normal. So far I haven’t lost anything more then what is to be expected.All down comforters make noise!!! It makes a slight crinkle sound when you move it in certain ways but nothing overwhelming or bothersome.As for the overall feel, this feels like a quality product. Does not feel cheap. It fluffed up just fine.I will say despite it being the heavyweight option it’s not super warm. It’s warm but it’s not “I’m too hot” warm.

I did so much research for the right duvet insert. I specifically wanted a down comforter that's reminiscent of the hotel quality, and boy! This is it! it's so soft, and i got the heavyweight and it is indeed that. It doesn't feel super heavy when you take it out of the package or when you start to fluff it up, but when you lay underneath it, it's the perfect thickness to be warm without smothering you like a weighted blanket might. It's the perfect thickness and weight. The material is kind of strange, but it's meant to be an insert. It's not meant to lay against you without a cover. I put a cover on mine and the material is perfect. So if you get it and the material is a little strange, get a cover as intended.LISTEN, IT WILL BE FLAT WHEN YOU TAKE IT OUT OF THE PACKAGING!It's vacuum sealed, it WILL be flat. I read so many reviews and listened to those who gave the appropriate steps to get it fluffy! You can't just put it out and expect it to fluff on it's own. It will expand slightly on it's own, but you've gotta ruffle it with your hands, shake it out, beat it a little bit. Then put it in the dryer (or wash it entirely and then dry it), and it WILL fluff up. Don't listen to the reviews of people complaining that it's too flat, they clearly did nothing to try and fluff it. It's not gonna fluff up on it's own without a little bit of help. And it's not gonna be 3 inches in depth once it fluffs, but it will expand and it will fluff. Just follow directions!Super comfy to sleep with, i'm so glad I did more research to find a heavyweight down and goose feather insert, for that crisp and warm hotel feeling instead of settling for something cheaper.

It comes vacuum sealed so of course it will be flat when you first pull it out. It will look like a thin quilt. But following other readers advice, I put it in the dryer. It makes sense, it's like "shaking it" like others suggested on a bigger scale. I put it on air fluff cycle about 2 times before taking it out. When I took it out, it was so big, I had trouble carrying it.My bed is a queen and I got king because I like overhang and being able to pull covers and still having some room left over.I like my room cold but always look for a warm blanket 😅 i don't like to wake up sweaty or having sweat, so this blanket is perfect at being light enough to not make you sweaty but still keep you warm. It's super fluffyHighly recommend.

This comforter is lightweight but warm. I use it year round. I bought a duvet for it to give some added protection and I recommend that but this comforter is very good quality.

LOVE LOVE this comforter! It does crinkle at first so a bit noisy but it’s perfect for the warmer months if you still want the weight of a comforter without extra added heat which is exactly what I was looking for. Extremely good value for the money I’m very impressed

This comforter is just about normal. I say that because it is like the other goose down comforters I have had. I bought it in december, so I did not notice how warm it was until now. It is really warm, and with the heat wave we are having is amps up to super warm. I love the dark gray color. The crinkle factor is average. I don't spend my time moving around or making it crinkle so I don't really notice it. The comforter fabric is slightly rough. I did notice the feathers are poking out, so I put a duvet on it. It's lightweight and It fits my queen bed fine. I gave it 5 stars because it is just like the rest, (except for the roughness) and I am satisfied with it!

The comforter is very fluffy and great quality, but there are constantly loose feathers everywhere. The feathers actually make me itch. It’s not enough to make me stop using it, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again or recommend it.

This has become my favorite summertime comforter. It's simple but well made, cool and comfy, and washes well. Been using it over a year now and it still comes out of the washing machine looking like new. definitely worth the money.

This duvet is so comfortable and breathable and makes me feel like I'm sleeping in a cloud. It regulates temperature really well so even though it's almost summer, I don't feel too hot sleeping in it. It's also such great value — this is the most affordable option for a down and feather duvet. It comes vacuum packed, but toss it in the drier on low heat for 20 minutes and it fluffs up. Would recommend 10/10!

This is definitely your typical, warm duvet. I live in a drafty farmhouse and I use this with the sheet and it keeps me very warm during these winter nights.Easy to clean if you have a big machine and looks great even without a cover.
