Off road hunting, beast of a e-bike
After reviewing all manor of 4" tire e-bikes with hunting in mind I finally settled on the 3000 Watt folding TT-Ebike. First shipment had an issue but was resolved by contacting the vendor, no biggie. Shipping is expensive but when you consider that your getting a 70+ pound bike and comparable dual motor e-bikes are much more expensive total cost this was still a no brainier buy.My main goal was a e-bike to use on our hunting lease in GA. It had to go through mud, dirt, off road, etc. It also would be nice if I could pull big game out with it. Well it lived up to the billing. Using the dual motors I was able to pull my 225 lb (I'm 6'4") fat butt along with my rifle, 20 lb tree stand, hunting pack, and a 90 lb doe out from nearly a mile back using only a logging track, not even a road. Pulled the doe over a fallen pine, through a ditch, no problem with the dual motors engaged.I used the bike the entire hunting season and even took it on a island hunt where we were doing 3+ miles a day over a sandy road system. The battery lasted about two days with some pedaling to assist. We weren't sure if we could get a recharge so we conserved battery as much as possible. There were several other manufacturers e-bikes there and pretty much everyone was low on battery by day two, I did see one other TT-Ebike there. Found a guy with a 1200 watt generator and topped off on day two thanks to the removable battery, you want a bike with a removable battery.Couple of things to note if your using the bike off-road, 1) go ahead and get some tube savers and install them before you have your fist flat. I've had two flats but now have tube savers and no issues since. Taking the tires off and installing them was very easy. 2) you don't need to buy torque arms as the bike has stops built-in to prevent the front and back tires from simply falling out of the forks. I bought them but didn't really need them.Quality is great! no issues with the build at all, super solid. The speed of the bike is fine for me. I've had it up to 27 mph and that was plenty fast on a dirt road. Noise level for hunting was a key point as my quad was too noisy going way back in the least and I needed something quite to sneak back in there. I actually turned a corner on my way back and bumped a coyote out that didn't hear me coming. The back rack is very sturdy and I carried my tree stand on it with no issue. I typically zip tie a milk crate to the rack and put my pack in it. I've also put bow/gun holders on the handle bars. You have to find the right spot as the handle bars are full with stuff. I've left the cell phone holder on it and has come in handy on the island hunt. I need to find out how to dim the LCD panel for night riding as it's blinding, just haven't looked yet, I slipped a glove over it. The brakes do squeak a bit, haven't tried to solve that issue yet. Stopping power seems fine for hunting. To sum it up, I have no complaints about the TT-Ebike and I feel like it's perfect for my off-road hunting use case. Ok, it would be nice if it had mounts for a front basket. Having the dual motor capability and folding have been big pickups.

Great until now
Well this bike has definitely surprised me when I bought back in July 2024. I’ve used it sparingly up until now. I’ve needed to make some adjustments to the handle bar and the stem so it could ride more comfortably. I’m 5-4 so kinda shirt, and this bike is pretty tall. You will have to lean in one side if stopped if you’re shorter than 5-5. That’s with the seat all the way down. At this point I’m riding more relaxed and more upright. The bike has tons of power, especially with dual motors on. I’m finally writing my review at about 800 miles to say that everything was going great until just yesterday where my battery just died mid turn on a busy street. This bike weighs over 100 pounds so I immediately noticed the assistance turning off. Once I noticed the screen turning off, I knew I had a problem. Now I charged this battery to 100 percent, so of course I was surprised. I tried to turn it off and on but nothing. Ended up getting a friend to help me pick up the bike and throw it into a van. Got it home and tried to charge the battery. To my surprise the indicator light on the adapter was red. I waited until it was green and tried to turn it on again. No success. So I’m utilizing the manufacturer’s warranty to see what they’ll do about it. I’ll update this as I get more information.Update!! So after some back and forth with ttebike support techs, we found a burnt fuse that’s inside the battery. Now they were really good with responding and aided me through some of the diagnosing. I basically had to open up the battery among other things. Now I’m not one to complain. If you’re buying an ebike, just be prepared to put in some work on it and learn some new things along the way. It wasn’t too bad and hopefully the battery works once I install the new fuse. I’ll update it here once it arrives.Update! The fuse came last week. I popped it in the battery and everything is back in working order. Tt-E-bikes customer service is very helpful and prompt. I certainly recommend them and this bike!
