Bike Seat I Bicycle Seat for Men and Women, Waterproof Bike Saddle with Handle I Exercise Bike Seat for Peloton echelon Exercise BMX, MTB and Road Bikes

I have a performance mountain bike that came with a long and narrow WTB saddle that is designed to maximize power transfer and minimize chafing when powering through climbs or picking up speed. It is not great to sit on, so when I saw this saddle, I really wanted to see it suits my riding style. Since I don’t ride highly technical trails anymore, I take my bike mostly for recreational riding, and I sit on the saddle for extended periods. The performance saddle is too skinny and has very little padding for this. I have avoided the wider seats because I still encounter the occasional hill and want to pick up some more speed on some straightaways every once in a while, and the fat seats tend to chafe when doing this.This seat comes with a seat post clamp adapter, which I did not need since my seat post has the saddle clamp built in. It only needs a single Allen bolt to loosen and tighten to install. If you don’t have one of these, I highly recommend one since they make installation and adjustments much easier. The package also came with a multi-wrench of sorts and a couple of Allen wrenches, all of which I did not use. The rails of the saddle have clear markings to the front and rear safety limits on where to clamp. I was able to get a good distance and angle adjustment that fits me. The first thing I noticed about this saddle is it is only slightly wider than my racing saddle, and it is heavily padded on each side. I really liked the handle in the rear that helps me lift my bike when I need to carry it over some unridable terrain. I took it out for a short 5 mile ride over mostly pavement, some rocks, and some grass. The saddle was very comfortable and not fatiguing. I tried some sprints, and it did not seem to chafe at all. The foam used in the saddle is very dense and seems to be able to spring back easily. I have seen some gel saddles where the gel would permanently spread out to one side and not come back, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem with this saddle.Overall, I really like this saddle. At about a pound and a half, it is not too heavy, unlike many comfort saddles, and it is actually comfortable to ride on. I think I will keep using this saddle as my daily driver and switch back to my racing saddle when I am on the trails. It is definitely a worthwhile upgrade for anyone looking for a comfortable saddle without adding too much weight and spending too much money.

This seat is SO much nicer than the original one the Peloton comes with. I don't know why they even made it as no one finds it comfortable. This bike seat, however, is excellent and we'll definitely be on the Peloton more now that we have this.It wasn't too bad to assemble, but did take a little longer than expected.The sturdiness and durability is excellent. I find the quality, so far, to be great.Overall, I'm very happy with this bike seat and definitely recommend it for anyone needing more comfort with their stationary bike.
