I love these headphones. They feel weighty and solid, sound quality using my Galaxy S8+ is very good.

I bought this pair to replace some that had succumbed to their over-complex hinge design. This pair arrived with a hinge already broken. It's a weak point on these phones, which is a shame as the sound signature is outstanding for the price.

Item damaged had to send back for refund

The good: great sounding bass and treble over Bluetooth for the price. Connectivity has never been an issue to date. They fold up into an extremely small space.The bad: when folded the two earpieces touch each other in such a way that one earpiece pushes against the on-off switch so they switch back on as soon as you put them into the storage bag. Fatal design flaw. I’ve flattened the battery several times now until realising the cause.Does anyone have a solution?

These are the first pair of bluetooth headphones I have owned and had wanted to buy them for a while. The C50BT model is the same spec as the Y50BT model however it was originally made for a different market / region. I had read many reviews prior to my purchase both by consumers and online technology review sites and these had convinced me that this was the pair to get in this price bracket.Inside the box are the headphones, drawstring bag / pouch, micro usb cable and a 3.5mm to 2.5mm audio cable. The headphones are very well made with a luxury design to them. There is a weight to the headphones, not heavy though. The ear pieces are chunky but the leather covered pads feel really nice. The headband has padding and both sides are adjustable. There is a slight clamp type feeling when you use the for the first couple of times and some reviewers have mentioned this so depending on your head size may not like this. Its a nice feeling knowing they won't fall off.On the left had cup is the usb charging port. The right hand side houses the on/off button, volume buttons, button to skip tracks, audio cable socket and the microphone. There is a also a light that determines when the bluetooth is connected and whether the battery is low - blue / red.Out of the box they required about an hour charge and I have yet to drain the battery but when fully charged they should run for around 20 hours. I paired them with both mobile phones I own, an old ZTE Blade A512 and Google Pixel 3a, no problems with these at all.So the sound is excellent. Due to the way the cups sit nice and tight on my ears they are a great listen. Instruments are separated well and stereo effects are clear and spacious. There is a real clarity to the sound. Bass is very good but not overpowering and I read some reviews that suggested it was but this will be down to personal preference and I like bass but have certainly owned other earphones with deeper / powerful bass. It doesn't muddy the sound for me. Important to remember an obvious point but the quality of the sound through a headphone will be determined by the quality of the source and device that you are using.Being picky the volume could do with another notch or two although this is a criticism I can use at almost every pair of ear / headphones I have ever owned. I don't need to hear stupidly loud music but sometimes when listening to quieter recordings it could do with a smidgen extra. Most songs the volume level is fine.Sometimes after maybe 45 / 60 minutes one of my ears begins to ache a little but again many on ear types are guilty of this. Maybe my ears are too dainty and sensitive. Just a quick lifting of the pad resolves this. Also for me when removing the headphones the pads are a little sweaty.If the battery has run out there is a 3.5mm to 2.5mm audio cable to connect to your devices and continue the listen. I haven't tried this yet but other reviews suggest this is equally as good. The buttons on the right ear all work well, volume etc. Haven't tried voice calls yet as I will most likely never use them for this.So far mine have held together though I have been treating them gently after reading reviews where customers have found parts coming loose etc. Overall these are a very good looking, stylish, well designed pair of headphones with an excellent sound quality to match. I can highly recommend them.

I really like AKG as a brand BUT found these headphones had really poor Bluetooth connectivity to my iPad and iPhone 7 devices. No issue with the seller or their service - all as described in the advertising - just enormous frustration with the capability of this specific product / version.

For the money, they were great and provided an acceptable sound for all ranges of music. Sadly, they had to be returned as the earpiece became detached.

You buy these. Now. No seriously, they're that good.AKG C50BT's are exactly the same as the Y50BT's, only cheaper. I bought these for $99. But even at $150~ they're almost perfect.Pros :Sound - These are all about that bass. Deep and punchy bass. They will shake your head. But the best part is that they don't lose the mids or highs. Sure the highs are rolled off a bit, and the mids are recessed, but they aren't destroyed. And for cans at this price point, i expected them to destroy my ears in a bad way. These surprised me. Especially for a pair of Bluetooth headphones.User Experience : Simple to pair, great connectivity, and easy controls. Not much else to it. These are the definition of put on and go. You just turn them on, they auto-pair, and you are all set to go about your day. And with a 20 hour battery life, you can go for days on end without charging.Comfort : I'm very picky about comfort on my headphones. If you can't wear, what good does sound do? Thankfully these are comfortable for longer periods of usage. They are quite heavy for on-ears, and i mean very quite heavy. But the combination of good ear pads and head band padding, they stay on quite comfortable. I wouldn't bring these to the gym because they are too heavy and will fall off, but for daily commute, they're fine.Build quality : Built like a tank. Heavy like one too. These can take a beating and are built very well. A surprising amount of metal used in the construction, especially at this price point. They look OK to me, not the greatest style, but hey, they don't look like garbage cans.Price : This right here is the best pro. They're only $100. even for $150 they're a steal. Just get them. If they break (and i mean IF) you could get another one for cheap.Cons :Quite hefty : As mentioned before, they are quite heavy and bulky but it's totally not a deal breaker. It's not even an issue, more of a slight annoyance at the start.Overall : Just buy them. They don't break the bank, they sound great, they are built great, they ARE great. This is the best bang for buck on - ear headphone there is. Bonus? They're Bluetooth.RATING : 5/5 - SPECTACULAR VALUE

Received these today. This is the second set of these AKG Bluetooth headphones I’ve had. The battery life is amazing, plus the signal strength is very good. They have a very nice balanced sound and my first set lasted two and half years of every day use and the foam on the ear cups and headband was wearing out, otherwise they still kept long charge and sounded great!
