So far, i like this heater. The elements are hot, like our old, similar heater. This one also lightly blows the heat, as well. If it holds up, this will be exactly what we wanted.

Purchased this space heater after buying different name brand version of the same heater last winter a year ago. The brand name was utilitech, this one is comfort zone. I liked the three separate elements and the three separate power levels 500 / 1000 / 1500 on high all three quartz tubes are lit, medium two, and low only one. The heater works great and still does so I tried to find the exact same model for a second room. Could not find utilitech, but this comfort zone model is the same. Unfortunately the first unit that arrived only two elements would come on on high. So I return the unit and had a second one shipped. This second unit is also defective. It must just be this model. What are the odds of getting two lemons? It turns out that the low medium high switch is wired incorrectly. On low one tube turns on. on medium all three tubes turn on. and on high only two. I thought the replacement heater also had a tube that wouldn't turn on, but I discovered that all three do actually work. I have monitored this unit for 2 days being on, and it does appear to actually work. I was going to return this second unit, due to fear of a fire hazard, and that still could be the case. What type of quality control occurred that all the heaters of that model has defective switching? It had to have been known by the manufacturer.

The media could not be loaded. This heater is an excellent value for the money!It has three quartz elements and you can choose to use them 1, 2, or 3 at a time. The fan is very quiet and even, so it avoids detection in a teleconference space.The video shows the control in the low position from about 18 inches away. The controls work smoothly, a diplomatic invitation to turn the heater off when you leave the room.It is a reliable thermal companion and draws an even current, so doesn’t trigger circuit breakers.I would unquestionably repurchase this model for other rooms if that were needed.

3 elements only 2 work, really? Time will tell during the winter! Update: all 3 elements work, bottom one can be turned off .

This heater is excellent and heats up my living room and kitchen, highly recommend

Great product for heating up a full sized room, and also a very effective night light for the little ones.

Nice size heater. Wish I could turn to position that just lites up the bottom element only. Only the middle element can run independently. If top or bottom element is on, then the middle element will always be on.
