Ostomy Supplies Waterproof Stoma Shower Cover for Colostomy

After Reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure if I should purchase one theses stoma covers. It is fantastic. I left my waterproof pouch on and folded it in half and put the cover over it. Using the belt that comes with the cover it stayed in place. I wore it in a hot tub spa and it only got my pouch wet in a few places. I used a piece of paper towel to dab at it and the pouch was dry.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:i ended up not needing a Stoma but i had a abdominal drain and i used this to protect that opening/tube

Doesn’t hold the size you adjust it to and there is no silicone around the hard plastic edges, impossible to keep water out , wish I would have returned but I’ve been in the hospital for over a month

Can't imagine taking showers without such a device. It does keep the water off your ostomy bag, but the strap needs to be tightened frequently to keep all the water off.

I bought this because I like the idea of it.Pros; it adust easy, fits well, and is quite comfortable.Cons: some water still gets in. (this could be because I do not have enough body fat to seal it.I think if this had some sort of rubber seal around the edge that created a better seal, this would be a five star product. If you have just a little cushion in the mid-section it probably seals well.

If you have a 40 to 44 inch waist, the belt is too tight. It needs to be longer with more adjustment.
