Unexpectedly beautiful
I bought this for practical reasons and I wasn't disappointed on that score. But I didn't expect it to be such a desirable object too. The wood is a beautiful colour, with lovely grain markings. The whole comb is really well made; shapely, perfectly balanced in weight and comfortable in your hand. It glides through your hair, damp or dry. And it comes in a delicious black and red box with a padded interior and cherry blossom on the lid. It would be great as a present - although I intend to keep mine!

Disappointing
Appears to be well made but this comb does not have any aroma and certainly not the distinctive sandalwood scent I expected. Not entirely sure what the comb is made from. I have other items made from sandalwood and the scent lasts for years and is very distinctive. Disappointing.
