Very good bang for your bucks *UPDATE 11/6/19*
Athletic, 6ft, 220lbs.Extreme heat conditions kept me from cycling as much as I wanted to. I saw this indoor cycle and after weighing everything decided I would give it a try. I've had it for just around 2 months and have pedaled 1860 miles to date and reached a top sprint speed of 50.2 mph. The magnetic resistance is strong in the higher levels. It weighs around 40lbs and is easy to pick up or roll for storage when folded.Pros1. Cost, good price for what you get2. Easy set-up3. Whisper quiet. Easy to ride and watch a show without disturbing anyone4. Effective. Magnetic resistance is very good. I usually ride levels 7-13 out of the 16 available.Cons1. The HR grips aren't super accurate(usually low)2. Wish the pedals were clip-less (I'm looking into if I can swap them)Overall, I would recommend this indoor bike for anyone looking to add or supplement their cardio.*UPDATE 11/6/19*A little less than 30 days past the 90 day warranty my bike developed an issue. I had put on approximately 2300 miles and the it had started to make a clicking sound which turned to a clunking. After removing the cover from the drive unit I found that the central drive belt had separated and was only holding on by what looked like some carbon fiber strands.I contacted Pleny customer service via email with attached photos of the issue. Within 24 hours a response arrived from a gentleman named Chen Ben. He had never heard of such an issue occurring and was in contact with the factory about a solution. After about 3 weeks and a couple of more emails it was determined that there was no way for me to replace the belt since the entire drive unit was factory assembled.Keep in mind I was past the warranty. Now here's the fantastic part. Within 24 hours of informing me I couldn't fix it Mr Chen made arrangements to send me a brand new complete bike. 48 hours from that email the new unit arrived at my home. This is what customer service should be. In this day and age so many companies would have turned away with excuses. Pleny and Mr Chen stood by their product. BTW, there must have been a defect from the start on the first unit because the new one makes ZERO sound. If I turn off everything that makes a sound all you can hear is a very low level hum. That's it. Great product and great customer service!

Sturdy, quiet, totally worth the $$$
I love, love, love this bike! It rides super smooth and whisper quiet. I’m not much of an exerciser and I have a treadmill that I may have used a dozen times in two years. I use this bike every day like I’m a kid! It was easy to assemble and I like that it’s easy to take room to room because it folds up and it has wheels on it. I like that option but honestly it’s so small that I have no reason to move it out of my living room. It’s small but it’s very sturdy and stable. I weigh 200 pounds and I don’t worry about tipping it over when I’m getting on it. It tracks your time, distance, MPH, and it has an odometer. One thing I love about the odometer is that when you reset the other parameters for a new day the odometer doesn’t reset so you know how many miles total you’ve ridden your bike. There are two cons but for me they are not deal breakers: The pulse detector does not work accurately, not even close! And the seat is uncomfortable but I don’t have much padding back there so it might just be me. I am ordering a new memory phone seat cover today and I read that 50% of people stop cycling because the seat is uncomfortable (not just this bike) so just know that’s fixable. Oh, and you can download the Peleton app for $12.99 a month and watch it on your phone or smart tv! They have hundreds of cycling video from beginner to advanced.

Decent bike for casual fitness needs
PRO: Easy overall assembly, about an hour or so to put together. It's fairly easy to do if the directions are followed.CON: Ran into quality control two issues with assembly but doesn't affect ability to use the bike as intended. The first issue is that the bolts that secure the foot pedals to the pedal shafts were impossible to tighten all the way down so the bolts are only tightened partially but since the shaft and pedal itself are both threaded, they stay secure on their own. The second issue is that the two right side bolt holes missing from the shaft where it connects to the screen/handlebar assembly so the handlebar frame is only connected to the shaft by the two left side bolts. It did tighten securely on the left side and doesn't wobble but I wouldn't want to lean hard into it.PRO: The bike operates well and the screen shows speed/time/distance/calories/heart rate. No clue about the screen's accuracy though. It said I burned 300+ calories in a half hour going about 13mph. It's a little bit clunky to adjust from recumbent to semi to upright but it does adjust through the four positions (upright, semi upright, recumbent, upright for storage) and it's nice to have the option to use the different positions. It adjust similar to a gym bench with a hole/pin locking system and honestly I always struggle with those so it might be me.CON: Shortly after first use, the flywheel started to make a knocking noise when pedaling forward, it doesn't make any noise when pedaling backward, that way is whisper quiet. It's annoying but doesn't affect the performance, probably wouldn't notice with headphones onCON: The stop button for the screen is right above the little phone tray so there's no way to set your phone down without screwing up/resetting the monitor screen. I was looking forward to having a way to watch shows while biking so it's a bummer that doing so resets the stats screenPRO: The resistance goes up to level 16 and at highest resistance in upright position, you will feel a little burn, especially if you're low to moderate fitness levels. It's nothing like a real gym style bike but from level one to eight to sixteen there is a noticeable difference.PRO: The resistance bands attached to the machine are a nice addition, I find myself using them towards the end of my workout when I start to get bored of straight cardio. The bands won't make you jacked or probably not even toned, but it's a nice distraction and does give a good little burn if you do high reps.CONCLUSION: All in all, this is a good bike for the money. It's not going to win any awards and it isn't going to replace a gym but if you just want an easy, cheap bike to hop on for an hour in the morning/evening to burn a couple extra calories (and have a low bar of expectations) this will be fine for you.
