I purchased the IDOOGEN Tailgate Tent for my SUV, and it’s exactly what I expected from a quality Korean product—solid, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. Seems like a well-made and well-conceived product. All the zippers worked and the material was vaguely heavy-duty. I think it would last many outings. I like that both the awning and the ventilation mesh can be rolled up out of the way.BUT... BEWARE FULL-SIZE SUV OWNERSI had to reverse the installation a bit for my full-size SUV, as I couldn't get the part that goes over the liftgate to stay there without tension. So, I installed the wheel arch (actually in my case mud flap) strap first. Then I was able to get it over the liftgate.However, the Sequoia is a BIG vehicle. The top flap would not go all the way over the liftgate. It was about 6-9 inches short. This left big gaps in each upper corner, which I think would be a problem with gusty rain.Same story at the bottom. The tent did not adequately seal the bottom of the liftgate opening.I'm going to see if I can find the same product for a FULL-size SUV. I've got a trip coming up in a week. If I can't find one in time, I'll try this tent and come back and update this review.

This has been such an awesome addition to car camping or pulling up to a spot to tailgate for the day! I love being able to sit in the back with the trunk open and having more side protection from the sun and wind. The awning is a nice touch for a small seating area to keep out of the sun. It's easy to assemble and packs up small to throw in the trunk. One of my favorite camping purchases I've made!

It's great should of got one size bigger

Ended up returning. There were gaps in the corner of the hatch. I was thinking of trouble shooting and using magnets to hold it down to keep it covered but would rather get one that truly fits. 2024 Rav4

Arrived just in time for a freezing cold and rainy weekend of softball! We were able to back up and sit in the back of the expedition and watch the game. All while staying dry and keeping the wind at bay. Def recommend!!!

Overall not a bad product but not perfect. Not exactly what I was expecting but the quality isn't bad so that kind of made up for it. I think I expected it to be larger than it actually is and maybe that's on me because I didn't read all of the information in the ad. Setup was n't overly difficult and the overall package doesn't weigh a lot, but I wish the instructions were clearer. I don't think I will use it much as I feel like the setup takes longer than a normal tent. Would. This may be just my personal opinion, but a little bit of improvement could be helpful for this car tent.
