Easy to put helmet on and take off.
These took a while to figure out how to put on initially, but they are a great addition to our helmets.

Not made for motorcycle helmets
These are WAY too small to fit any motorcycle helmet I've ever seen. They are more like the ones on childrens skates. There is no way to attach either end to a helmet. They are pretty much paper weights unless you want to modify your helmet to make them work. Pay a little more and read the description better than I did. These will NOT work for your motorcycle helmet.

These buckles are awesome! Don't listen to all these dumb-dumbs
These buckles look and feel exactly like the one on my 750 dollar Schuberth motorcycle helmet. This helmet is 6 years old so it's time to get something new. I want to get an AGV carbon fiber modular helmet. But they only come with D rings. You're probably here for the same reason I came here: You know that if you have a buckle like this on your chinstrap it means you can take your helmet off and put it on with your gloves still on and in no time, flat. So my wild idea is that I'm going to install a buckle like this onto a different, brand new 750 dollar helmet. "You're a moron!" I'm hearing y'all say. Sure. But I know what I'm doing. I have an industrial sewing machine with kevlar thread. It'll be just fine. Most of the people buying these think it's an aftermarket solution to bypass your D rings. It's not. You need to CUT or replace your existing straps so that you can install this buckle system. This is literally just something from the helmet parts bin that's being sold on Amazon from China. Just beware of what you're buying and stop giving it bad reviews. The device itself is JUST LIKE the one on my German helmet. A+++ Would buy again.

Fits some helmets and not others
Purchased the three pack to change out all helmets. Fit perfectly on one then the rest had a strap too wide. Works well if you can install it. Just bummed it wasn't just a little wider...maybe the helmet manufacturers need to get a standard strap width?

Very helpful
My straps on my motorcycle were no longer fitting snugly so I took a chance and purchased this item. Love it. It’s easy to strap under my chin and release is just as easy. I’m very happy with it my purchase. Would recommend!

Missing parts, cant attach to motorcycle helmet
You need more parts to be able to connect it to a motorcycle helmet, its only the quick release part, but missing the parts you will use to attach it to the helmet

Not easily retrofitted to existing helmet straps
I have this buckle set already on a helmet and I love how easy it is to fasten the buckles. I got these to convert other helmets I have however, there are no instructions how to mount these to existing helmet straps.From what I can tell, you have to remove the existing helmet strap buckles and install this buckle and then sew the buckles onto the straps. That is not something the average person can do correctly.
