Picture perfect princess castle, great size, easy close for storing, lots of fun areas for kids make believe play. Horse and Dolls are not great quality but Castle is a decent size to play with other toys instead.

My 4 year old loved this. Serious value for money in my book compared with the plastic offerings in the market it's great. Some of the finishes were slightly fluffy still but tiny bit of sand papering saw to that. The little Disney figures fit perfectly to add to the playtime and it even had a little bell.

My daughters are still playing with this two years after getting it for Christmas. It is a favorite for all their little characters. Durable, wooden construction makes us feel better about its environmental impact.

Buying this castle was a pure accident, but three months later I can tell you that it was a happy one :).My four year old little girl had asked Santa for a "princess castle" and I'd been watching the price on the Melissa and Doug version for weeks, since it had everything I was looking for at a relatively affordable price and also had a long history of (mostly) positive comments. This one kept popping up as an alternative, but since it had no reviews yet (it was new) I was hesitant to buy it, even though it was on sale for a really great price ($49). I was going to give the M&D one another week to drop in price and then take the chance on this one, when I unknowingly ordered it with 1-click on the app and two days later it showed up at my door.Instead of dealing with returns, and because I was curious anyway, I decided to open the box and see what it looked like. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was almost completely put together already! No spending hours assembling on Christmas Eve required. We only had to put the pink balconies and the towers in place and, of course, arrange the accessories. It's now sitting in the living room against the wall and makes an attractive piece of decor when it isn't being played with (it's very pretty) ;). It is large, but since it folds up it is really very manageable.As for the quality, I wasn't expecting a lot since I knew it wasn't solid wood, so it was slightly better than expected and also slightly worse. It is made of a lightweight wood, but still quite durable; it's held up to heavy play over the past few months and there has been no broken wood pieces or splinters or anything like that. The furniture is cute, if a little large and the people are also nice and decently made, with fully articulated limbs. The two points of disappointment are the ladders and the gates for the horse stables, as other reviewers have already mentioned. We might replace the cords with hinges eventually. The ladders just don't stay up very well, but that's a common problem I've noticed with all Kidkraft products.The factor that brings the castle from four to five stars, however, is the play value. Though, my kids (now 5 and 8) don't play with it every single day, it does get played with for hours each time they do play with it, which is at least a few times a week. The castle has plenty of space for play (I do wish it had a dungeon like the m&d but there is more open space overall in this one) and for furniture or other accessories if you want to add more.I bought several playmobil princess and fairy sets to go with it, since my kids love Playmobil in general and the scaling seems slightly better with the smaller figures than the ones that came with the castle. They also mix in the little Disney figures and even some calico critters, as well as the people that came with it. They don't care about uniformity! The potential for imaginative play is what I like the most about the castle. My son will bring over his dragon knight castle and they have castle battles; or they enact elaborate scenarios with the princess castle, such as dinner parties (and once they spent two hours hiring Victorian detectives to find the missing princess, who had been hiding in the stables.Hope this overly long review was a little helpful :) (and that amazon doesn't change the formatting, making it harder to read).

Ma fille de deux ans l'adore! Un château qui invite à créer toutes sortes d'histoires. J'ai hésité avec une maison de poupée et je ne regrette pas mon choix. Il y a un grand espace de jeu. Il est très grand. Les tours sont interchangeables ainsi que le pont et les escaliers. On peut y jouer avec des playmobils et rajouter du mobilier.Je suis très satisfaite de ce produit. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Die Qualität ist wirklich überzeugend. Es kommt fast komplett zusammengebaut (nur die Türme muss man noch drauf setzen, was aber eher Spaß macht als lästig zu sein).unsere Tochter hat sich sehr gefreut weil die Teile (also Figuren etc) schön sind und weil es auch mit Playmobil etc kompatibel ist von den Größenverhältnissen her.
