At last a book that seems to make sense
This book is pointing out what a lot of other books and plans seem to be missing. In the past being a triathlon coach and Ironman Wales finisher I have had the fitness but now need a little more help in getting back to being able to "go long" again. Thanks Mark for giving a possible route ;)

Great recipes
This book is FULL of great recipes to help you on your carb cycling journey. It feels a little rushed in some places and could do with mentioning a few other things you might require - before you get to the end of the steps in the recipe! Some pictures of the meals would be nice too, just as a visual aid, but it's helped me stay on track and lose 2kg in 4 days so far! There is a wealth of information at the beginning of the book that goes into every detail, which can sometimes be a little long winded, but if you haven't even looked at what Carb Cycling is before, it's very good to have.

PRO: The book looks good, no colours or pictures but thats ok, the recipes look delicious and i will just amend the seasoning as and when. VERY VERY informative. Would recommend CON: I feel forced to leave a review as I am requested to do so in order to receive the free gift which is very annoying as I haven't had a chance to actually use the book and see it's progress. Also, I won't be able to review the free gift that comes along with it which would have been nice.

First look at book
Having just recieved my carb cycling cook book first look at it seems quite comprehensive with a lot of information about carb cycling. What it is and how to do it. I can't wait try some of the recipes they look delicious.

This book opens with an explanation of what carb cycling is and how it works for you. The author also explains the different phases of carb cycling (low carb, high carb) and the purposes of each. Then we get into the recipes. I liked that the recipes covered breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and desserts. But, in each chapter there are clearly labeled high carb and low carb options. So, you can make it for into the portion of the plan you are on. There is also a meal plan for high carb days and one for low carb days. I found this book very informative.

This book describes carb cycling, which I didn't know anything about. I like the idea of doing low carbs and then high carbs, or vice versa. I loved the section on controlling your hunger, especially in the evenings or late at night, because I tend to eat later in the evenings. I like the recipes and the two separate meal plans for low and high carbs. Overall, I like this book and will be using it.

I love the kindle version so much, I doubled down and bought the paperback! It is so thorough and scientific without losing the layperson! Organized very well, comprehensive and complete! Love the bonus and was very pleasantly surprised! Bonus!!! Recipes are fab! The only semi- lower review wondered why low carb/high carb schedule/recipes were not in order! I love the way book is giving the information and also saw in the early portion of book, he explains how to do the carb cycling! I already have several carb cycling books and kindles and was not satisfied as they were not complete enough or too confusing! This book is clearing it all up! 1000 Stars! Worth the double purchases!
