This review is for the SONGMICS Clothes Rack, Freestanding Wardrobe Closet, Metal Clothing Racks, Heavy-Duty Garment Rack with Adjustable Wire Shelves, Hanging Rods, Hooks, Dividable, Ink Black ULGR431B01.I got this garment rack to use as extra storage for clothes in a room without a closet. It was decently simple to put together.A few things of note. If the plastic clips aren't even, double check that they are all facing up. The word "Top" is a bit hard to see. The metal is evenly coated on mine and I didn't see any blemishes. The metal is lighter weight than the other racks I have of this type. I didn't notice any damage to the shipping box, but one of the wire racks is slightly bent along the edge. For me this is a cosmetic issue and plan on putting that side against the wall. Just something to check for when unpacking your shelving unit.Because this is lighter weight, I don't feel comfortable using it to store heavier items than clothes and shoes. These can be heavy enough by themselves.Depending on your needs, this shelf can be a good option for the price point.

The organizer is very easy to put together. It's sturdy and Easy to move around. The different heights of the hanging sections make it easy to hang longer dresses and shirts without looking messy.

This was easy to assemble. I love that the shelves are adjustable in small increments. I am obviously not using it as a closet but it makes a fantastic plant stand! I was disappointed that the shelves were not as sturdy as advertised . . . The ad shows they have a 90lb static load capacity but the instructions show 33lb. 1 shelf was slightly bent out of the box.

Too many little plastic pieces! Takes way too long to put together! It shouldn’t be this difficult. I will never buy this item again!

This is for sure a must have, easy to assemble and allows for easy organization.

I prefer the wire garment racks for sturdiness but the cost was adding up since I have so many clothes and I am trying to turn a spare bedroom into a dressing room.Will screen all the garment racks with ceiling to floor drapes so it doesn't matter if they match.This wasn't particularly hard to put together but there is no comparison with the wire racks for sturdiness. This is not a rack you want to move once it's set up. Figure out a location and keep it there.The advantages of this rack is it's designed to be a full closet with shelves for shoes, folded clothing, etc., and is much wider than the rolling garment racks I have. The downside is it's not as strong, you can't just push this to another location, particularly if it's fully loaded.

I really love that this unit is freestanding and doesn’t have to be drilled into the back of the closet. This organizer is for my daughter’s room upgrade from preteen to teen. She keeps accumulating more & more clothes, lol. The fact that it’s freestanding means we could have set it on the wall adjacent to her closet rather than inside the closet—believe me she did consider having a giant wall long closet, but we convinced her otherwise. She can take the unit with her to her own apartment in the future if needed. The entire unit is very sturdy, no wiggles or jiggles. The shelf heights and bar racks can be adjusted to suit your clothing or storage needs. All the instructions were easy to follow and set up was simpler than many other pieces of furniture I have set up over the years. My daughter practically put the whole thing together herself, with guidance and supervision of course. There will be no more excuses for having clothes on the floor now that this closet unit is in place. Very good investment for creating space and keeping things organized.
