Good in most ways
I have a Sienci Longmill MK2. This dust shoe fits great. Its design works well for placing the longest extending part to front, left or right and all worked great staying out of the way. The clearence under the plastic enclosure was good also. The dust brushes are stiff and keep chips from getting out. Overall its a great dust show but for 1 feature, the size of the hose attachment, its 1 1/2 inch - I was able to find that a rockler hose I have was able to adapt and that kinda fixed that. Overall it works well and is a good design.

Works as it should, shop is much less dusty now
I've had this for a while now, works as it should. I have it connected to a dust deputy / shop vacuum. Sold for the Genmitsu, but because it clamps on it should work for any 65 MM router or spindle. I have it on a Makita 701C. It uses a 3MM hex key to tighten it down, and easy enough to slide it up and down the router as needed based on bit length. Brushes are long enough, but not long enough to get into the bit. The upper and lower halves are held together by magnets, and they've never dislodged during operation.

Must have
Worked amazingly.

Works as intended
The boot is really easy to install and change bits on the router. You don't have to take the whole boot off to change the bits, the bristle part is held on by magnets and it snaps on and off easily when you want it to. The dust port doesn't fit my vacuum hose, but I still make it work. One thing to be cautious about is making sure the bristles will not touch the piece. They are firm and will lift the router up leaving an uneven piece. I keep the bristles about an inch or so away from the piece when zeroed and haven't had issues yet. It's still effective even at a height.-1 star for the stiffness of the bristles and not having adapters for different sized vacuum hoses

cleaner cnc
As expected direct fit for my 4040 promax. Build quality if solid. It was a little tough finding a hose and adapter to fit it but once that was sorted zero complaints. easy to adjust when i need to. Magnet and keyed fit make bit changes easy.

Great product, but…
So...... I bought this product again as of April 23rd, 2024 and it is now 7:49 p.m. mountain standard time.I am going to put this new one on my router and make sure to adjust it so it takes into account the amount of travel the z access has to go before finishing the program. I will give an update on this new one after I have run a few jobs with it.It is packaged very well though.Product Update as of 3/29/2024 at 5:56 p.m. ->This product is causing my z axis to skip and jolt up, causing a misinterpreted zero on the z axis. I don't know if the bristles are too stiff or what, but when I don't have it on my machine, my machine works as intended. I am going to make my own dust boot (because secondly, I accidentally destroyed mine as I was taking it off the router... P.S. ALWAYS turn off your router before removing the dust boot... it was a terrible lapse of judgement on my part for that split moment).I do not recommend this product for anyone with a Shapeoko 3 xxl or similar. It covers the spindle lock on my DeWalt and it causes the z-axis to lose zero after zero has been set. This product is easy to put on a DeWalt palm router on a cnc. I have a Shapeoko 3 xxl cnc and the dust boot is great, but…IT COVERS THE SPINDLE LOCK 😱Now, I need to find a way to push in the spindle lock because the boot is at that perfect spot… which is just where the spindle lock happens to be.So now I must either drill and tap a hole for a small bolt to push in the spindle lock when I need or figure out how to put a spring loaded push pin, kind of like what is on a dremel. Another option is to remove the top piece every time you have to change bits, but I feel like there is an easier way with a little bit of modification.Yes, I have tried to have the locking piece above and below the spindle lock, but it is either too high or too low in either of those positions.Right now I am leaning towards a spring loaded plunger pin, but I am not a machinist nor do I have machining equipment to make that tiny of a plunger pin.Having an adjustable push pin where you could adjust its location with some tiny little nylon locking nuts in a slot around the top portion of the dust boot would be ideal. That way you could locate the pin to over the spindle lock, lock down the pin with the two nylon locking nuts and then tighten the screw that holds the whole thing in place and then you are set. Then all you would have to do is push the pin in, in turn pushing the spindle lock in and locking the collet to be able to loosen or tighten the bit into the router.

Works great!
I attached this to my Foxalien Masuter 3 machine with the upgraded Foxalien router. Everything fits perfect and allows for great visibility, also has magnets for easy bottom section removal to change bits.

Priceless!
If you have a CNC router this is a wonderful addition. So happy I pulled the trigger and got it.
