Honestly, this is the best heat shrink tubing I have ever used.I have used many different brands, and this being an online purchase I wasn't sure what I would get.This tubing shrunk well, I used a heat gun since this was large. I don't think a torch or lighter would have been easy for a large piece.It is very robust! Not thin and flimsy.If you need the finished product to be flexible this might be too firm, but wire this large isn't very flexible anyway.Genuinely very pleased with this purchase!

I use heat shrink tubing a fair bit. It is invaluable for sealing an electrical repair or when creating a custom light fixture...I tried this tubing out since it said that it was waterproof and I wanted to make a connection that would be outside and exposed to the elements...I had no idea!! This stuff is so cool! At first I was a bit concerned because it seemed HUGE, compared with tubing that I have used in the past...However...Not only does it shrink down a HUGE amount to really cinch the connection. It thickens up when doing so, which makes a really nice sturdy thick cover for the wires...As if that were not awesome enough, it has a heat activated glue inside the tubing which melts as the tubing shrinks and totally seals the entire connection!! This is so much better than typical heat shrink tubing where the seal is tight but not sealed...I am totally impressed and will be using this type of Heat Shrink tubing almost exclusively from now on...

My Cushcraft A4 trap end caps had rotted out (again). This stuff fits perfectly and shrinks enough to seal nicely to the smaller tubing.Yes, there's adhesive unlike what some reviewers have posted. There's a technique involved to keep it from all leaking out however.Great stuff and very sturdy . Time will tell how UV resistant it is.

Used it on a permanently coupled pair of outdoor extension cords. Was just big enough to fit over plugs and shrank tightly on the plugs. However, it did not shrink quite enough to fit snugly on the 1/2 inch diameter cord. Ended up using outdoor electrical tape to seal them. Product appears to be durable enough to withstand the harsh outdoor Midwest weather.

Works great just as described also love the fact that it has a water proofing glue as well as a thick protection wall after shrinking.

Finally I found the best heat shrink tubing, with thick walls. I work on sewage pump stations and wire nuts are a joke in that environment. When I do a job I do not want to go back, with wire nuts that's not the case. I found 3:1 shrink tubing in the past but the walls were too thin and sometimes will rip, then I found this one. Also I have had my share of non insulated butt connectors and found the best one that has thick walls too and the brand is Airic that is sold on Amazon. Due to the electrical current going through the wires things will heat up, that's where this heat shrink tubing and Airic come to save the day.

This is a little thinner than I hoped but it is still a good quality and sets up extremely well....I don't use them for their intended purposes so thickness should not be an issue for those who use it for typical reasons.

I was only used to Harbor Freight and Walli’s Stuff.Now, this here is a whole different World, which due to the high quality will give you a hundred more applications of use .Extremely strong, tear resistant, waterproof, non abrasive, heat resistant, easy to keep clean , strong adhesive, wide range of wrinkle free shrinkage

Fits larger and shrinks extra small. Great for most bigger electrical ends.
