The Bauer Facial Spa Face Steamer has been a total game changer for my skincare routine. It heats up quickly, produces a steady stream of warm mist, and really helps open pores and loosen blackheads. Cupboard staple for congestion relief. The steam output is not harsh and is gentle though with the different attachments can make it more ‘dense’. It seems safe and being a trusted brand i can’t see why it is not (even if you get worried about water and electric like me!). It’s easy to clean just wipe it. Well made, great design and a must have for sinus issues and if you need it skin care! :)

When it arrived I wanted to return it straight away due to poor fit - shape of face and nasal parts are way to large, huge one does not fit face shape at all and nasal part do not protect eyes from heat/steam so you need to cover top with hand or cloth. It can be beneficial if you want to inhale from nose and mouth at the same time or rest your chin on botton part. As heat is strong it is not suitable to use for children itself.As the item is non returnable I give it a try. It does not produce lots of steam as cold steamers do. The item boils the water and works using mostly heat and little steam which comes out of hot water similar to old fashion inhalations where you cover your head with towel over a hot water bowl with aromatotherapy oils or saline solution. It takes few minutes for water to boil and produce steam/heat on setting 2, then I switch to setting 1 as 2 become to strong regarding heat.I bought this model for tee trea oil and four bandits oil nasal inhalation to help with chronic sinus issue. There is plastic part where you can put cotton pad to apply oil for inhalation or you can put saline into 50ml water cup base. When water/saline runs out the item shut off automaticaly. So far I tried oils inhalation and it helped a lot. The heat is strong so I have to put nose in and out constantly and think even if parts were good fit I would not be able to keep nose inside plastc part for long as heat is so strong. However for sinus and bronchitis hygene heat is the way to effectively clear passage with oils and/or saline. As cup holds onlly 50ml of liquid which last approx 10-15 minutes, there is no risk for item to stop working due to overheat.The item is well made and overal bauer products are good quality which should last years if you don't get faulty model. As long as you are able to get use to the shape of it, it will significantly improve the quality of breathing and having in mind good quality tea tree oil can kill bacteria and help to flush them out it may be wirth to buy tool which can handle both oils and saline.I did not tried face steamer just nasal part and found it helpful and now I do not regret buying this model. Most inhalers are not suitable for oils this is 2 in 1 which met my needs.

I only received this today but I LOVE IT! Easy to put together and the scent tray is brilliant! I used to use a bowl of hot water but it was a right faff and the water went cold quickly. This is perfect for short stints of inhaling when you've got a stuffy nose. I'm going to be using it all the time :-)

Doesn’t make too much steam but yea, good for purpose of steam inhalation.

I purchased this as I came down with flu. I was not sure whether to buy this product or another one which was double the cost. After reading reviews of both I opted for this. It’s a powerful steamer which heats up in about a minute or two. It was a lot more powerful than I thought, initially I put it on the second heat level and that was too much so I had to dial it down to one. I would recommend this as it’s a good way of clearing out flu and seems to be a good facial cleanser as well.

I suffer from sinus problems. This makes it easy for me to clear my sinuses. I would normally steam in a bowl but the water got cold too quickly. This steamer is excellent. I love the design. I add menthol crystals to the water and get even better results. It's easy to use and reduces risk of scalding due to its design.
