The media could not be loaded. Powerful, but LOUD!!!!It's industrial standard, so don't expect some low hum. These big fan blades push air powerfully and fast, so they're loud.You won't be able to sleep while these are on. So, if you're considering them for that, I'd think twice...Although they're loud... I love mine - I'm highly active, so I need a powerful fan when I'm working-out.When on, you'll need to crank up the the volume on the telly; these things are beastly loud!Each of the three settings pushes significantly more power than the previous.So good that I bought it twice - I own two of these monsters.The first, I bought in May 2016, and I run it everyday in my gym - working-out or training clients. That's 7 years nonstop.These units are built to last.So far it has lasted 7 years.Occasionally, I'll open it up to clean the dust out; it gathers dust like nobody's business!I run it in my bedroom too, while 'exercising' also🤭🤣***UPDATE: The first fan just died today, after 7 years - 24-08-23☹️

This is one powerful fan. Bought to cool me down when using my bike turbo trainer, I’d bought a cheap plastic pedestal fan before which was totally pathetic and then thought maybe something more industrial would do the job better. Happily I was correct, this thing blows a gale even on the lowest setting and is very sturdily made indeed. Really pleased with it, it is a bit noisy but not surprising considering how powerful it is! For the cooling power I can put up with a bit of noise. The dog also likes it and will sit in front of it to cool down after being out on a run.

This is a powerful sturdy machine. It is noise but for me it's OK. The noise helps me to sleep. It looks like Iam inside an airplane. I bought two for my dogs and with this hot weather it helps a.lot. I just hope it last for the whole season because last year I've got two from another brand and just last 4 months and stop works. This brand looks a bit better but only time will tell but Iam suspicious of everything "Made in China" this one do not mention where it was Made but for sure it was in China. For now Iam happy with.my.purchase and I recommend this brand.

On the lowest setting it is still loud enough to be heard in noise cancelling headphones.fastest setting is louder than a old car

Fan didn’t last long .. I hardly used it only very rarely … very disappointing !!

Very economical..my smart meter says so..also the noise is handy for me in the summer... it drowns out my neighbour who has a voice like a pantomime witch

In the last 3 years i've had 3 of these. They are really good and not too loud but they die every summer. My latest one just died again.

I gave up looking at all the Dyson type fans because unless you pay Dyson type money, you are not going to get the quality. So after trying a few different fans and sending them back, it was the case of "Meh, I'm just going to get a very big fan!" So I ordered two of these, and boy do they move the air! They sound like a Spitfire flypast, but I don't care, they cool the room better than any standard fan. You would need to invest in air conditioning to beat these. Yes, they are industrial, but in June and July, they were exactly what I needed. Well built and sturdy they will shirt every last litre of air in any size room at such a rate it will cool it down and not recycles warm air. If the noise is an issue, then sorry it is not for you, but if the heat is driving you nuts, these monsters are not only tolerable, they are very welcome!

Bought this to accompany an indoor bike trainer. I already have two fans but continually overheat. This fan is significantly more powerful so it fulfills the primary purpose to push air. It's attractive and seems like a high quality unit. The by product of it moving so much air is that it is quite noisy (settings 2 and 3 out of 3 are increasingly bad). Anyone else in the same room trying to watch TV or similar, would find this very irritating. The fan moves a good amount of air at level 1 but no-one should buy this in the hope that it is not too noisy - if that is a concern, you will want a lower power unit. Most surprising of all, despite ordering this from amazon.de it arrived with a UK 3-pin plug.
