Durable, economical, easy to work with.
Worked great in constructing 4 eight foot long rabbit hutches. I have used several 25' rolls of this. Sometimes square spacing is off a little, but not by much in the rolls I got. I'm willing to deal with that because this is much more economical then what the big box stores want for theirs. If you are a perfectionist then this wire isn't for you, you are better off spending double the money at a big box store. I also use this to make rabbit carriers and it works good. It is stiff but can be bent, but you have to use finesse to avoid breaking the welds. Bend slowly, and bend all wires at the same time, not one at a time, or you put too much stress on the welds. Use a piece of 2x4 as a brace to bend against. It holds it's shape great after bending though. With the right wire cutters it is a breeze to cut. I haven't seen any rust on my hutches after several days of rain, so happy about that. It is 16 gauge which works fine for rabbit hutches, but I wouldn't go any lighter and prefer a heavier weight 14 gauge. I use the 1'x1' wire for the sides of the hutches, and always use the 1x 1/2 inch for the floor. This prevents sore hocks much better in small animals. Economical and works just fine, nothing here to whine about!

Better Than Expected After Reading Reviews
I ordered this wire despite quite a few negative reviews describing faulting welds, missing wire, etc. The price was much better than local hardware stores so I took a chance. I haven't used the entire roll but so far I have found no concerning issues. A few of the wire "gaps" are slightly smaller than 1" x 1/2" but previous reviews had stated missing wire altogether or large gaps so I'm fine with this. The welds could be stronger. When bending the wire to make rabbit cages sometimes the weld would break on ends. Thankfully it was never in a place that really mattered for me. So far so good. Maybe they increased quality control or maybe I just got lucky.

Good Quality with Good Welds
I couldn't find this in my local hardware shops so glad to find it here at decent price. Good welded mesh. Thick enough for my crabbing purposes. Easy to bend with standard pliers. I got some handheld steel cable cutters off Amazon which made a world of difference.

Good on a tight budget with some cons
I had a whole lot of wire cages to build for my Holland Lop rabbits. X16 30"x21"x24" cages to be exact. So, after shopping around for the best price on 1/2"x1" cage wire, (which I use on the entire cage) I decided to give this brand a shot. I was initially apprehensive because the listing photo showed varied spaced wire that is not 1/2"x1" all over. Thankfully it did arrive correctly. I've learned quite a bit about this wire brand as I bought over 225 ft of it and built all cages with it. First thing I noticed is that the quality of the wire and packaging look a lot like the same wire sold at the Tractor S. store. I wouldn't be surprised if they are made in the same factory. If you have a lot of cage floors and doors to build, buy the 100ft roll and not the 25ft rolls. The 25ft rolls end up really wavy when unrolled and requires "a lot" of finesse to get it flattened out. For what it's worth, I had little issues with the 100ft rolls. The biggest gripe I have with this wire is the overall quality in "spacing" and "welding". The spacing can vary a lot. So much that it makes lining up cage edges, doors, latches, dividers and feeders a pain and less than a quality finish. There were also so "really bad" welds (see pics) that had sharp weld slag sticking up and entire weld runs that should have never made it out of the factory. I have tons of cage building experience and was able to make it work by using the worst sections on the roof or walls but just take a look at the photos and make your own call. At the current price, it was less than $2 a linear foot, whereas my local farm store was $4.25 a linear ft. Albeit, theirs is better quality and lays flatter when unrolled. Would I buy it again? Yes but I would skip the 25ft rolls and order just the 100ft instead. If you're just needing to slap some cages together for little investment and you don't really care what it looks like, then this wire is just what you need.
