Versatile and charged
I have the previous model, and it's great. There's a light, a laser, and the magnetic rear let's me fix it to metal. The new model is far and beyond! The light and laser are there, but so is a UV light - want to see how gross everything can be? Now you can! Beyond that, the best feature of the new model is the ability to run the light and laser at the same time. May sound tryt, but if you work in an industrial facility, directing with a light and pointing with a laser at the same time kills confusion. It is well sized for a pocket, with a nice flat no-roll design giving enough power to last through a work shift.

Great every day use flashlight, laser pointer and UV light. Small and great quality
Really awesome small flashlight for every day use. The light is bright and it comes with a laser pointer and UV light which is handy sometimes. You can carry it anywhere and it works just as advertised. It is sturdy and sold, made of metal. Has a quality feel to it. Also it's rechargeable by USB and you're not looking for batteries.

A lot of power in your pocket.
I got this to replace my old Olight i3t eos, which was my second one of those. The i3t eos is an awesome light by the way. Anyhow, I felt like it was time for an “upgrade”. The added laser and UV light, along with the rechargeable internal battery makes this for a supreme option in edc lighting. This light has technically 4 white light settings, 1 green laser, and one modestly powered UV light. What I really love about this light versus what I’ve been using in the past is this light’s medium is brighter than the “high” setting on the i3t eos, then the fact you can step it up even higher to an actual high mode at 420 lumens. If fully charged, you can get roughly 4 minutes of “turbo mode” before it kicks down to medium mode to preserve remaining power. I ran this for several minutes on high and it gets warm at the end of the light but not hot. Turbo mode is only about 75% visually brighter than high mode but kills the battery quick. After running turbo mode the light will be quite warm/slightly hot. Do not enclose the end of the light any while in use, as it will get hot. Pros: lighting options beyond just white flashlight (laser/UV). Internal rechargeable battery. Ease of use. Strobe feature. Cons: proprietary charger. weight (compared to smaller lightweight/compact options). & price Still tho, when I got this it was on sale and still, it’s a very nice pocket flashlight to have as an edc.

Highly recommend for EDC
Seriously consider the ArcPro series for lightweight EDC, I've found it to be nearly perfect for my use case. I wanted an EDC light with decent performance, rechargable, and comfortable to carry in a front pocket. This light exceeded my expectations even though i was skeptical of a "remote control" feel for a hand light. I love the magnetic base and sturdy clips for various attachments or simply pocket carry. The quality and feel is also quite well done - surprising at this price point. Highly recommend.

Designed for Construction Supers
Hi. I’m a construction superintendent, I build homes for a living. I was looking for a good penlight. After going through a few industry favorites (streamlight etc.) I discovered this light. This is the best light I have ever used for daily carry. The power light is perfect for basements without electricity and inspections. The moon light is perfect for when I wake up before my wife and I need to get around the room without waking her up. The laser is excellent for pointing out framing issues to trades and learning about issues from inspectors. I even use the UV light to ensure the cleanliness of bathrooms before closing on homes. The best part is, I only charge this thing every two weeks — and I use it EVERY DAY. I use the high power beam for at least 20-30m every day, and the laser all the time. It works perfectly in 11F (lowest temp tested). I haven’t tested subzero temps, but it’s never given me any issues. I literally never leave the house without it. I don’t use the UV light all that much to be honest. We have a long haired cat that pukes all the time, so sometimes I use it to see whether or not my shag carpet is clean. However, I’ve heard you can use it to see ringworm infections etc. on yourself and animals, as well as to detect oil leaks in car engines. TBH I don’t use it much, but it’s awesome that I have it IF I want it. Like any tool, more capability is better. I can’t say much as to how the Arkfield Pro compares to the Arkfield Ultra, as I don’t own the Ultra yet. I believe the only differences are that the Ultra has 100 more lumens of light and a proprietary aluminum alloy body that is tougher and more resistant to scratches. In order to be persuaded to spend the extra $30 on the Ultra, I would need to see an increase in battery life (which there is not, as far as I can tell) and a more significant increase in lumens and possibly more options for brightness. I’m probably going to get the ultra at some point because I love this company and I’m kind of a collector of penlights, but I feel like the difference isn’t enough for the normal risk-averse consumer to go for the upgrade. Ultimately, this light is THE light if you use your light on the job. Whether you’re a mechanic, a framer, an electrician, a plumber, or a super: this light is for you. It fits with a utility knife in the mid-thigh height side pocket of any pair of work pants (you know the one). I put my sharpies on the other side and I’m ready for the day. This light is daily carry whether I’m working or not, though. I’ll bring this bad boy to the bar. 10/10, 100%, 1. This is a perfect light. Look no further because you’ve found the one.
