Terrific, classy, sturdy...
I wish to say as advice to the next buyer, please be aware that this arbor/trellis must be anchored to 4x4 posts that have been sunk in cement to install it. It does not come with the 4x4 posts or cement. The holes to sink the 4x4's into have to be about 2 feet deep. If you go this route, remember to "call before you dig." I describe a different option below which, as it turns out, worked great as long as you are putting this along a wall. This is a beautiful, high class permanent piece for your garden so all of the above are needed if you are going to install it freestanding as a privacy screen. It is made of pvc mixed with wood to give it a matt finish pale wood look that is beautiful and feels nice and soft on the fingers. It is easy to put together for one person but is quickest with two people. I would set up some saw horses to lay it on and keep it square when screwing the corners or lay it on the floor with one side against a straight wall edge. The instructions are easy to understand and legible. The listing says it ships as 24 lbs, I believe this is the weight of each of the 2 boxes that have half of the trellis in each one. I didn't weigh it but it feels like about 50 lbs and my teen son and I had to carry it together because of the weight and size. It is sturdy!I installed this against an outside garage wall rather than free standing. I chose to anchor it to the wall with 4 inch L-bend brackets and instead of sinking 4x4's into the ground I made wooden footers that rest on the ground so that there was nothing buried. This way I didn't have to call for buried utilities or worry about cutting my invisible fence with digging or buying a post hole digger (or hiring a fence installer to dig post holes). I bought treated 4x4 wood, inserted it into the posts, marked it just a half inch longer than the bottom of the post and cut it off there. I then used wide deep wood screws to screw each of the cut posts to a "mailbox plank." These are treated for weather exposure and are precut planks that are about as wide and long as the base of a mailbox - it's probably cheaper to buy a plank of wood and cut it but this was an easy shortcut. We set these "footers" and then set the trellis posts on them and then screwed the L-brackets onto the trellis and then into the garage wall while standing on a 5 foot ladder while the assistant held the trellis in place. Of course we made sure the trellis was level before screwing it in.

Very beautiful
The media could not be loaded. It’s really big and that’s what I wanted! I would have preferred a wooden trellis of course but this large one is the right size and affordable enough, and should last quite a while. I am 58 and I assembled and installed it by myself, at least, until the last moment where I needed someone to lift the other side to place into the holes. My only complaint is the horizontal pieces sag a little bit. I think I can fix that. Or maybe there will be so much wisteria all over it it won’t matter. I love that it allows me some privacy on my carport, because the neighbors are spitting distance away. Highly recommend.

Looks great in the garden
Easy to assemble. A couple things to know. The material is rather sturdy but can crack if stepped on or abused. We set the unit over two posts we put in removable post holders that we pounded into the ground to eliminate the need for concrete settings. If you use post holders, be sure to drive them in by using a block of wood that is smaller than the 4x4 post holder otherwise you will have a rough time getting the block out.Do your best to line up the posts to the correct width so you can slip the trellis right over the short posts.A day after we installed this, we had strong winds blow through and this unit held up just fine.

Beautiful looking Trellis
I wanted something to put bweteen my man’s my neighbor’s yard… this was a perfect one and got lots of compliments. I hired people to install it. They dug a 2’ mile hole and I asked to put 3’ long 4x4 wood post to give sone height to my trellis… final look is awesome

Well worth the money
the back side was a bit scratched up but it was against a wall so no big deal. Color was faded in areas, but in the sun of Florida, I’m sure it will fade even. They didn’t include the plastic weld glue, so i had to drive to 2 stores to find it, again no big deal. It does take 2 people for some parts of assembly, or it’s frustrating alone. The trellis was bigger then I anticipated, but the stated measurements were exactly as stated. I have 2 plants on the trellis, just waiting for them to grow. Overall very good product!

Attractive Trellis
This is a very sturdy, stable trellis as long as you install it properly--with cement anchors and the appropriate 4"x4" posts. It is very attractive and I found it easy to assemble. Very happy with this purchase.
