Two Years Later and Still the Ultimate EDC Flashlight Kit
As someone who’s been using OLIGHT products for years, I can confidently say the OLIGHT Baton 4 Premium Edition has been one of the smartest gear purchases I’ve made. I’ve had it for close to two years now, and it’s held up flawlessly—both in performance and durability. Between the flashlight itself and the included charging case, this is hands down one of the best EDC light setups available.⸻Everyday Functionality and PowerAt 1,300 lumens, this little guy packs a serious punch. It’s compact enough to carry in your pocket daily, but bright enough to handle just about any task—whether it’s lighting up a dark trail, navigating a blackout, or checking under the hood of your car. The beam is clean, with a great mix of throw and flood, and it’s easy to cycle through brightness levels depending on your needs. The interface is simple and intuitive, and the moonlight mode is perfect for middle-of-the-night situations when you don’t want to blind yourself or others.⸻The Charging Case: Game-ChangerThe charging case is what really sets the Premium Edition apart. Not only does it store the Baton 4 securely, but it also charges it on the go multiple times. I’ve used it while traveling, camping, and on the job—having a power bank built specifically for your flashlight is just plain smart. It’s well-designed, easy to use, and surprisingly compact.USB-C charging means it’s fast and compatible with all the other modern devices I carry, so I never have to worry about finding a special cable.⸻Build Quality and ReliabilityThis flashlight, like every OLIGHT I’ve used, is built to last. After two years of constant use—including drops, weather, dust, and the usual EDC abuse—it still works like the day I got it. The anodized finish holds up well, the magnetic tail cap is convenient for hands-free work, and the side switch is responsive but not overly sensitive. The light has an IPX8 waterproof rating and a rugged aluminum body, and I’ve tested both plenty. Whether I’m in the rain, on a trail, or just using it around the house, I never have to second-guess whether it’ll perform.⸻Pros:• Super bright (1,300 lumens) in a compact body• Charging case extends battery life and adds serious convenience• USB-C charging for both the case and the light• Durable, waterproof, and built to handle everyday abuse• Magnetic base for hands-free use• Still works perfectly after nearly two years of use• Premium feel with practical features for real-world useCons:• The charging case adds a little bulk to your carry (but it’s worth it)• Premium price—but justified by the value and long-term reliability⸻Final ThoughtsThe OLIGHT Baton 4 Premium Edition is everything I want in an EDC flashlight: compact, powerful, and packed with features that actually make my life easier. After two years of use, it’s proven itself to be more than just a flashlight—it’s a reliable companion that I trust day in and day out.If you’re someone who values quality, smart design, and lasting performance, this is a no-brainer. OLIGHT knocked it out of the park with this one.

Handy pocket light.
Love this little light. If I had to choose between my gun and this light, I'd probably choose the light because I've pointed it at things more than my pew pew. I love clipping it to the bill of my hat for that hands free experience. The magnet at the back, yaaaas queen! The turbo setting makes it run hot but the "normal" max brightness setting runs at a tolerable warmth at steady state. Your grandma wouldn't be able to tell the difference. For those who are complaining about the confusing button commands, don't listen to them. They're stupid. All you need is one finger and a base level reading competency to get started on operating this little photon factory. The manual works.Cons: You have to wait and buy it on sale. Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Tiny but super bright
I love this little flashlight. Just holding it you can tell it's well built. It's surprisingly bright for how small it is. And having multiple brightness settings means it's useful in any occasion. It hasn't let me down so far. The pocket clip is sturdy too, so you won't have to worry about dropping it, although I usually just have it in my pocket. The magnet is strong enough that you can stick it to any metal and you know it'll stay there. Even the charger it comes with is super useful. It charges it decently quick and you can still use it while it charges too. It's a good flashlight to keep for an emergency or as an edc flashlight. It's my first Olight product and definitely recommend it.

Charging Case Feels Like A Fat Vape
A very small adjustable bright light. I like the fact that it charges because I never seem to have any batteries laying around. It magnetizes into the case which displays the case charge on the front. It also has a double edge clip so you can clip it regularly as well as to the bill of a hat like a head lantern. The lid to the charger is very tactile and figity. Holding it makes me feel like I’m carrying a fat vape.

Great quality light
Nice little flashlight that I clip to my GoPro chest mount. I use it to illuminate wiring closets. It works well for my purpose. I really like the charging case for days when I have to visit multiple locations as it keeps the light bright all day. I have multiple OLIGHT products and really like their quality.

You need this
The Baton 4 is the best daily cary light I've ever bought. And I've used lots of lights in the shop and in the field. I like it so much I bought a second as a backup. It'll stay charged for a couple months one medium to light use. The magnet strength is more than adequate.

Great customer service from olight
The light is very functional and works well. The lens on it cracked within a few weeks. It was not dropped or otherwise abused. My only guess is it got hit with a cold rain when hot. Regardless olight customer service was great and quickly replaced.

I can see now
Finally, Someone can make a pocket flashlight where you press the button once and it turns off. I don't have to scroll through a strobe, emergency, low-medium-high and everything in between, just to turn it off! It has three tiny LEDS that let you know when the power is running low, which-with this thing- I can't imagine it running low, it seems to go forever. I still haven't even recharged the charger since I got it. The charger is a little big to carry in your pocket, but leave it at home, you probably won't need it for a while. 2 clicks of the button and you have the light of a much bigger flashlight. I'm going to go kiss it right now.
