Refill a used cartridge as follows: Rinse cartridge with water and shaking. Drain through the small hole so particles are not caught in the filter. Less costly than Braun, but not quite as good
I have used 2 of the Shaver Shebang sachets mied with one litre of 70% isopropanol to refill the Braun Clean & Renew cartridge 6 times. Good points: the mixture works and has kept the shaver clean, it is more economical and reduces recycling of spent cartridges. The not-so-good points to my mind are : the shaver head does not dry so completely as with the original solution, and I find the aroma not so pleasant. I think that I shall continue to try to re-fill the Braun cartridges, but perhaps based on a different alternative.

Delivery? First class. Received product in two days from USA which is as quick as can be expected from UK.Product? Initially disappointed that product is not a replacement but an ingredient that has to be mixed with rubbing alcohol before use. Also, instructions are in 10 languages on one piece of paper and not easy to read or follow, and also a waste of paper.Service? Also first class. I discussed with Shebang by e-mail and am completely satisfied with attention and explanation received.Recommendation? Most certainly!i It may be easier to order and replace cartridge. However, the diy is easier than I expected and savings are about 75% and repeating.ii Some editing and presentation of instructions would be helpful for many first time users.Further there are environmental considerations in that there will be less plastic cartridges to discard

Save money and help save the planet
The sachets arrived quickly and safely packed.i mixed the first sachet with surgical spirits from Boots at £4.49 and yielded sufficient cleaner for 3 refills. It works like a dream, saves a lot of money and probably more importantly saves another item of plastic from polluting our environment .

I have experienced the product personally. I was surprised. The quality of product actually better than the finished cartridge Braun CCR 2 (6/720). I will recommend to all!Excellent quality product, great service! Recommend. The product is worth the money!
