Decent Product
Looks good and fits well in my refrigerator without taking up a lot of space. Spigot doesn't leak or drip either.

Attractive, small footprint, clear glass dispenser with stainless steel spigot
I’m using it on my counter to dispense filtered water. I have a dispenser with a pur water filter that I keep in the fridge, but wanted something in glass for room temperature water, that would look decent, and wouldn’t take up too much visual, or counter space. I was so happy when I found this KooK dispenser with a stainless steel spigot. The glass isn’t thin and super fragile looking - but it’s still glass so I take no chances when I handle it. The lid is squared, and mine was capped in such a way that the plastic gasket was flipped the wrong direction in one area. Fortunately, it wasn’t damaged, and seems to work fine. No leaks from spigot. (Mine was already tightened down, though the instructions indicated it needed to be, so I can’t say how difficult that would have been.)I wish it came with an attractive simple stand. Fortunately, I found a very small, square shadow box-type frame, that currently sits on a rarely used marble cheese slicer. I still need to lean my taller mugs.Pros: Attractive, small footprint, stainless steel spigot, glass (no plastic taste.)Cons: Wish it came with a stand as an option. Any other potential cons would be related to what I consider pros, thicker glass which adds weight, and it’s small footprint - so it’s not for large parties, or dispensing large quantities of liquids, unless want to refill frequently.I’m very happy with my purchase, in both appearance and function.

PERFECT SIZE!
This size is awesome. It sits on our window sill in our TINY CABIN in the mountains. I was tired of looking at our plastic jug of spring water sitting on the counter top--which I have very little of! PERFECT!

It’s excellent, ignore the unfair reviews because...
I suspect people think the nozzle is clogging because they are not venting the lid. If you look closely at the lid seal it has a small notch. Just leave the the lid pulled up halfway and that allows it to breath for full pouring. (pic attached)Also, use some common sense and don’t pour boiling water in an un-rated glass container and it will last just fine.Glass is plenty thick and durable, nozzle is durable metal and leak free. Looks great, It’s a little tall for my fridge, but I adjusted my shelves to accommodate. I love it.

Great alternative for smaller gatherings
I used these for a small get together and they were the perfect size. The glass was nice and thick and they are actually pretty. The thin profile was nice because it took up less room than my big 2-gallon round dispensers. I would love if they had a coordinating base to purchase.

Nice decantor, need to check spigot
I purchased item after reading others reviews. It seems there are more than a few complaints about the spigot leaking and I think I understand why.In my case anyway, the spigot came pre-installed. Upon examination it appears loose as I could rotate it fairly easily. As I tightened the nut from inside I noticed the nut was pushing itself into the convex silicone washer so I removed the spigot to get a better understanding. In the picture the inside of the spigot shows the nut, and then a stainless steel convex collar. I assumed the convex washer is underneath this washer against the glass. The outside was correctly assembled with a silicone washer against the glass, and then the spigot. So, in my case the spigot was assembled Nut, washer, convex metal trim/Glass/washer, spigot. In this configuration it will most likely leak, and if tightening the nut in attempt to seal it would then eventually crack the glass. It should be nut, convex metal trim, convex washer/glass/washer, spigot. The decanter itself looks pleasing, and the spigot is easy to open/close and doesn't leak or drip. Of course it will drip a bit after closing the spigot, but then stays dry. The cap has small air slots to allow the liquid to flow freely. The size is perfect being 4" square, and doesn't take up too much space in the fridge.

Poor quality assurance
The hole through the glass for the spout was poorly made. Whatever method they used to cut the hole caused the glass to chip away from the inside edge of the hole, leaving an uneven surface. The bore hole has tiny bumps and ridges where it looks like glass could flake off (see pics). It seems likely that the uneven surface inside the jar will make it harder to get a good seal around the spout hole. I didn't find broken glass shards inside the water jar. Unless I do something to smooth the glass there, I would have to hope that the seals would contain any future glass chips that came loose. At least the spout has a screen filter, but who even wants to think about the possibility of glass shards in a beverage jar?I see that others have previously posted comments and pics about this QC/QA issue. I see no improvement. 3 Stars off.The "flexible" seal on the glass lid is made from pretty stiff material. It feels like plastic rather than silicone. For the lid that came with this unit, the lip of this material that is supposed to seal against the glass is warped and bent in different ways around its perimeter (see pics). Even if I could heat-reform it, the design doesn't seem to be watertight; it's only there to hold the top on and keep the two glass parts from rattling against each other. 1 Star off.Unfortunately, this is the only product I found here where the form of the jar is almost exactly what I need for my specific use. I haven't yet decided whether to return it and try again.
