Bought this and started using it. Worked well for 3+ weeks, then Gave me an electrical shock and then stopped working all together. 2 days past return window, so Amazon just fooled with me in a continous loop. Not happy.

Great price. Heats a 5 gallon bucket in about 5 minutes to almost too hot. Make sure you don't put your hand in the water while it's plugged in BUT make sure you UNPLUG it before removing it from the water. I bought a $2 pool water temp Guage to see the temp.

Huge electric shock Hazzard!

I bought this to heat a huge inflatable tub of water since our hot water heater doesn't even heat a full bathtub of water. (Aren't slumlords fun?!) I have a 3 gallon plastic bucket that I filled with water, put the wand in the water and then plugged it in. It heated the water to boiling in maybe 7 minutes. Make sure to unplug it again before taking it out of the water. Fires, electrocutions, the danger is real. But the product is awesome. Three gallons of boiling water, when added to lukewarm water goes a long way and I know we saved money by not using the hot water heater that's on its last legs. The only issue that we had was that our electric situation here is dicey. A hair dryer killed my bathroom outlet completely. This thing? Blew the fuses repeatedly. We had to unplug all major electric suckers while using it that were on the same fuse.
