Audrey in Rome Hardcover – Illustrated, 15 April 2013

Another beautiful book from Audrey's youngest son. Gorgeous pictures, both candid and professional, and some touching insights into the real Audrey Hepburn from one of the people who knew her the best. A permanent addition to my book collection. Beautifully presented and a pleasure to read.

I like most things Audrey Hepburn & this is one of the better books I have seen.

Perfect gift for an Audrey Hepburn fan.

I bought this book for my niece who tells me it is an excellent read. It was written by Audrey Hepburn's son and covers the years when she lived in Rome.

While the premise for this book is a lovely idea, the outcome is somewhat disappointing, as the first reviewer said, most of the images are pretty much repeats of Audrey walking her dogs around Rome, there are very few film stills at all, which considering one of Audrey's most famous movies is Roman Holiday, I was expecting to see more behind the scenes images from that at least, instead of just the three of four included.A few colour images would have been welcome too, and aside from that the book looks like it was done pretty much on the cheap, printed on inferior quality paper, some of the pictures have a grainy effect too.I guess when you're spoilt for so many wonderful books on Audrey, the last one I purchased about her is the magnificent tome 'AUDREY The 60's', which is superior to this one in every way, not a grainy or wasted image to be seen anywhere.It's a shame her younger son couldn't have done a better job with this latest one.

ooh what can you say about anything about Audrey, simply gorgeous and great photos. I will never stop buying books about Audrey and the publishers know this!!!

I was very disappointed with the book as it was a gift for a friends birthday instead I had to keep it myself. The book had very poor quality of paper poor quality Photographs.
