Indoor TV Antenna for Smart TVs - Supports 4K 1080p HD Channels with 16ft Coax Cable and Signal Booster

This antenna is fairly small and takes up little space. It has great reception and a very durable antenna cord

I did the cord-cutter thing a few years ago and opted for the safe bet of a Mohu Leaf indoor antenna since I didn't feel like drilling holes through walls and ceilings to mount a larger unit in the attic or on the roof. It was adequate - as long as it didn't rain and I could live with marginal reception from off-axis stations. I bought this unit and another one over Black Friday just to test their inflated claims and see if they could do any better than my existing antenna.With antennas, there are 4 basic ways to improve the performance: 1) Make it big, 2) Place it high up, 3) Point it in the right direction, 4) Use high-end electronics to improve the signal to noise ratio. The manufacturer determines 1 and 4, while the consumer can affect 2 and 3. This unit is 6" tall and uses and unshielded cable to connect to the TV so 1 and 4 were not looking promising. I tested this unit 5' above the floor 18" from the window and 7' above the floor 6" from the window. I also tested it in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Horizontal would scan and detect stations, but couldn't achieve a stable picture. Vertical at 5' position yielded 2/3 of the stations that I had with my Mohu and they were closer to SD than HD quality. Vertical at the 7' position yielded 3/4 of the stations and was closer to HD (720p broadcast) quality. A convincing win for the Mohu Leaf in spite of its age and simplicity, so I returned both of the "400 mile 4K" antennas. (N.B. These small antennas are VERY sensitive to location and orientation, but you can help them with a broadband drop amp installed between them and the TV.)

It's hard to get antenna channels where I am, but this gets me the most of the ones I want! Small, easy to set up!

We had high hopes of getting extra channels with this antenna but did not see any added channels but 4. Followed all the instructions and did troubleshooting for over 2 hours to see if we could pick up more channels. We even had this antenna next to a window. Still no luck. Sorry for not a favorable review. We will give it a 3 because it did not provide extra channels. Appearance of antenna was nice. Maybe it did not work since the tv was in a downtown high rise condominium ??

Product works well, local channels come in clear and able to link with sling tv so everything is in one place.

Works great. I'm able to get all of the local channels over the air. Great picture quality. Still works in a half basement when the stations broadcast tower is farther away.

We get a few more stations. Unfortunately, we still have “weak signal” for some local channels broadcast from right here in town.Update: this is not worth a penny. We’ve tried it on multiple TVs in different rooms and cannot even get all local channels broadcast from right here in town! I do NOT recommend this.
