There is nothing more satisfying than the giant air gurgle that comes with clearing a drain that has been clogged for THREE YEARS! Yes- three years. You might be wondering, why did it take you three years?! Well, because we had never tried commercial liquid plumber gel. We’ve tried at least 10 other products, snaking the line etc. Each solution cleared the sink enough for the kids to quickly brush teeth. Washing hands in that sink was off limits, and if we heard our youngest playing we had to run because otherwise water would be running all over the floor. I was so frustrated- and the sink finally clogged all the way.I ordered this, and could not be happier. I dumped 4 cups (ish...) and waited. It says 15 minutes- I got distracted and it was probably an hour. Either way, afterwards I ran hot water and used my sink plunger. The nasty stuff that came out was astounding. Thick brown sludgy water. I don’t even want to know what it was made of. I plunged for maybe 5 minutes, running hot water every 30 seconds or so. Then- wa la. There was a massive gurgle and the water ran down. The photo of water running had been going for 3 full minutes with no back up. Previously unheard of (since we bought the house).I dumped the rest of the bottle in for good measure, just in case anything else is left. Wish I would have tried this first!

Worked When Other Products Would Not
The kitchen sink drain in my mother's apartment backs up all the time. Due to the weird piping in the building, the sink shares a drain with the neighboring apartment. The sink in her apartment and the next have drains that join at a common pipe. Sometimes, she gets a neighbor that uses the sink for a garbage disposal, then it really starts backing up. I tried a lot of different products that met with mixed results. Some worked for maybe a day or two and others were too thin to make it to the clog in the joined pipe and were ineffective.Eventually, I purchased this specific Liquid Plumr on a recommendation. I poured it down the pipe after we bailed the water out of her sink and let it set for about a half hour. Then we proceeded to run hot water down the drain and it worked! This worked far better than other products we tried and I picked up another bottle for her to have in her apartment. It's easy to use as well.

Did The Job Others Couldn't!
I first tried one of those "green" drain clearing products and my clog just laughed at it. Then I tried three treatments with a competing brand of "industrial strength" chemical drain cleaner and still got no results. The sink was still taking all night to drain.I had to do three treatments with Liquid Plumr. The first treatment opened the drain a little, so the sink took only 15 minutes to drain. The second treatment got the sink draining in about 3 minutes. And after the third treatment, the clog was completely cleared and the sink now drains fully and immediately.

I buy soooo much of this!
It's the ONLY thing that unclogs my tub. It does it well too. Will keep buying it.

Fixed a clog that no other could.
Ever have your washing machine's drainage-pipe back up every time you did laundry? I had gallons of water on the ground every time, no matter the size of the load, and it was feeding the mold in our basement. Tried a drain snake and at least 3 different brands of drain cleaner, none cleared the problem. UNTIL I bought this product (disclaimer: I used the entire bottle on the first use and let it sit overnight). 1000% worked. Over 12 loads of laundry later and not a single back-up to be had.

OG Reviews - liquid plumber
I bought for my commode was bepooed. It says on label to not use on toilet. I read that after pouring 1/2 the jug in the poopy toilet. I closed the lid and evacuated the bathroom. 2 hours later , bleached logs looked back at me ,still clogging the now seemingly smaller hole they needed to vacate via. I poured the rest of the jug in. There was a tremor & I heard pipes shaking. I snaked almost too deeply. I pulled out a Gameboy Tecmo Bowl cartridge from 1996 out I went so deep. The toilet remained clogged. 14 days later it dried enough for me to use a chisel & clear the way. Lesson learned: don't eat family size bag of danish pretzel pieces & wash it with a milkshake & cheese sticks ever again.

Use it often as drain maintenance
Use warm water and will probably have to be repeated.
