It will hold my phone. Doesn't come with instructions. Seems like it could be more secure, even though I have it tightened.

Good product for what you pay for. It isn't the most secure. I've accidentally pulled the entire mount out of the CD slot when trying to take my phone off of it, but I've been more careful since then and it's been manageable. There are two points where the screws start to loosen (one for the mount into the CD slot, and one for the 360 rotation head), and you can usually see or feel it, so as long as you're wary of that, it's not too bad. There are better products out there, as I've had a different CD phone mount in my previous car that was more secure (maybe even too secure - it was tough getting it out!), but they are usually $6 or $7 more.

This would probably work better if the phone mount was magnetic.The spring tension is so tight I feel one could damage the CD slot by over-tightening the holder. Trying to hop in the car and insert the phone in the mount results in pulling the holder from the CD slot, and for me it's not a one handed job.I also use fingerprint verification, which presents its own difficulties with this holder.It's not a bad product, but I feel there are better options, at least for me.

This is a really handy gadget.My only concern is it gets in the way of my drink cause I have two cup holders right below my radio.I guess it all depends on where your CD player is.I use it all the time

The car mount had to constantly be adjusted in my cd player. Tightening the tension over and over again. The area where it tilts was so loose the phone fell completely forward. I have to prop it upright by folding over a napkin into a tight square and insert it underneath to keep phone upright.

I looked at the reviews for all the alternative was to hold my phone and went with this one. I am glad I did. It holds my phone tightly and can swivel from upright to side ways. I use the overdrive app to track my driving and phone use is one of the things it tracks. Now my phone is held steady and I can answer the phone hands free.

Product falls off the CD player slot quite often. If you're driving a manual car make sure your CD player is way above the stick shift!!

This is a very stable and sturdy phone mount. I have purchased quite a few over the years and this is far and above my favorite. Granted it does use the CD slot but I rarely use the CD player anymore and it does pop out easy enough if you do want to listen to CD's. I am extremely pleased.
