🚨 Piercing Alarm 🚨
Well, well, well what can i say just a great piece of inexpensive home security item you could wish to buy, just installed the cameras then floodlight and also bought some solar lights for at the end of the yard but all these as good of a deterrent as they are nothing is more noticeable than a loud alarm going off middle of the night should there be a break in.Let me honestly tell you this is super loud and deafening, i don’t know what decibel they are but frankly my ears are still ringing from when i was installing and testing it on my window. The remote is the most practical solution and brilliant solution to arming/disarming however here is the only issue ! what if your remote is missing or cannot locate there is no button on the device to manually turn it off ! they need to upgrade that by having a pinhole deactivate button on the alarm and also i would like to see multiple alarm devices to be enabled by a single remote therefore i can have 2-3 around the house and use one remote to control, the current set up of having two or more “alarms” each controlled by “ITS” own remote is confusing and not practical.Great item! I very rarely recommend a product but this is one product i can say will be of absolute use and value for money !

Needs proper fixing holes and isn't especially loud when installed in a shed.
Unit is as described, I agree with a previous reviewer that it needs mounting holes in the back as the supplied double sided tape isn't going to work up against a standard treated timber UK shed! So with a couple of holes drilled in the battery door on the back of the unit it now clips into place. I am not convinced about the sounder decibels though as it isn't very loud when mounted inside the shed. It remains to be tested whether we would hear this though double glazed windows if triggered during the night. The alarm fob works ok, and happily arms and disarms the unit through the shed wall. Ok for the money I guess, but I will probably replace it with a more purposeful alarm in the near future. You pays your money as they say.

Possibly saved our shed
Our shed was broken into, so I bought this little alarm. Installing batteries was easy, and I was amazed at how well the remote works (great distance - easily the whole length of our garden). The alarm comes with sticky pads. I squeezed the alarm and the magnet onto the door with a tight grip for about a minute after reading reviews suggesting that the alarm might fall off, but two months later and it's still attached securely. The batteries in the alarm and remote are still fine two months later. The thieves came back a week later to have another go at the shed. I'm not sure if it's because they jammed the lock, or because this little alarm activated, but they seemed to have given up and fled empty-handed. I don't think they were far from having the door completely open, but they'd opened it enough to trigger the alarm so I can only assume that the alarm saved our shed. Not bad for less than a tenner!

Does the Job
Loud, batteries last at least a few months (haven't replaced yet.)Bought after being burgled in a noisy inner city apartment block; confident to sleep with earplugs in relying on the alarm to alert me to intruders as it is that loud. Tested with ear plugs from all corners of the flat. F'ing loud.Remote control is handy. One criticism would be that it's only really useful for one door, but in my case that's fine. Battery is easy to replace once fitted, big plus.No substitute for a proper alarm system though, best for renters who can't make major adjustments to the property.

Good alarm but could be louder.
Nice size and works fine. The sounder is loud but could be louder, I'm only saying that because I've had other makes that are just as loud but the pitch on this model doesn't hurt your ears.... Only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Easy to install door alarm with doorbell function
Item is small but plenty loud enough. Stick it to a door or window (stickies provided), but make sure the magnet that stops the alarm going off is close enough to the alarm unit (10mm). The alarm is activated and de-activated with the enclosed remote. Check batteries in both the alarm and remote if you have a problem. Remote also can set off a panic alarm and a "doorbell" setting where the alarm chimes twice if the door is opened or knocked (a bit like the chimes some shops have). Bought this for my mother who has the habit of falling asleep with the back door unlocked.

Great price for peace of mind!
We bought this because our daughter couldn’t find her key and wasn’t sure if she’d lost it or just misplaced it! We were going away and just wanted peace of mind that if someone did have her key and somehow knew it belonged to our house (I’m a worrier!) that at least there would be an alarm to scare them away and/or alert the neighbours! Believe me It’s definitely loud enough to alert the neighbours!!I’ll use it every time we go away now and be a bit less of a worrier about it!

Escaping 4 year old
I have a 4 year old grandson and along with my daughter he lives in an apartment in Abu Dhabi. Even at his young age he can unlock open the front door and get out. So I thought this would be good to alert her he is out, it won't stop him get out but at least she will know when it buzzes he is out. I think this will be good and maybe in time he will stop trying as he will know his mum will be behind him very quickly, an excellent purchase and not to expensive.
