Got this for my son so he would have something to do during Thanksgiving break from school. He did have a hard time with the instructions but the kit is super complete with a bunch of colors of yarn, little clips to keep your position and decent crochet hooks. The flattened fluff was curious at first but we quickly realized what it was, smart way to ship and save space in the box. Once he got a handle on the abbreviations it was pretty easy to catch on and he spent a good number of hours messing around with it. For the price and challenge, you can't go wrong. After you are done with what was included you can also just keep the instructions and keep making the little gnomes with whatever colors you want. Overall pretty cool, might be interested in buying others as unique Christmas gifts for other scouts or school friends.

This is not a bad little kit. However I would not recommend it for a beginner. I have been crocheting for over 40 years. There were a few mistakes in the patterns. I also ran out of green yarn, which is why the tree gnome has white flocks. I also ran out of the dark brown yarn so the reindeer gnome has light tan arms. I also ran out of the fiberfill. I am glad I had my own. I decided to add "fur" yarn to the beards and added a star to the tree and pom poms to Santa and the reindeer. The kit had 2 of the same size hooks, not sure why. I found it funny that it included a glue stick... You need a glue gun. All in all they were fun to make.

I am a beginner at crocheting. With both written and video instructions I was able to complete all three. They all are so cute!! Will definitely be buying more of their products.

The instructions had a few errors in them. I would not consider this item for someone who is just beginning. Overall product turned out okay. Yarn was difficult to work with.

Got these for my nieces birthday! She absolutely loves them and can not wait to make them. Great packaging also.

Started working today and the directions are good if you have already done some crochet projects, but so far I have already run out of red yarn before completing the first project.

I love this kit! I made these over the holidays and had a blast. I’m an experienced crochet but this was well written and would be perfect for a beginner. I loved how this had everything for the project.

I ran out of red and dark brown yarn. Other than that, this kit is good.
