Waddell Mfg Co - Round Table Top

I have popcorn ceilings and when installing a ceiling fan it falls off and creates "bald" spots. So I put a hole in the middle of the top and mounted it to the ceiling and mounted the fan under the top. It worked great, put some polyeurythane on it to make it look shiny. It gets a lot of compliments.

I had to sand this quite a bit to get it to an acceptable finish to prepare it for staining and sealing.I did that, then put a coat of oak stain on it and after that dried, I wiped a coat of ebony stain which I let sit for about 30 minutes before wiping off. The result is a beautiful ebony finish with some woodgrain evident. I finished it with several coats of Minwax urethane varnish.It is beautiful.

Worked out great. Just the right size for the cigar band decopage I had in mind.

This appears to be a very high-quality item. I bought it to use as a base on a tall slender Christmas tree my wife fights to keep standing every season. This solves the problem quite nicely.

These are ideal pine table tops. Nice quality (very few knots), smooth finish, and beveled edge is a nice touch. I have bought these a few times, and will buy them again.
