Fantastic little deep fryer, used daily
I’ve had this pot for a few months of near daily usage on an induction stove, and it still looks pristine. The small size takes exactly 32oz of oil. I use 32oz jars of coconut oil, topping up with canola if needed. I filter into a can after every use and save the jar it came in for easy disposal in the trash. I wipe the pot down with paper towels and give it a very light hand wash. I’ve only used silicone or chopsticks, so not a single scratch or blemish on the pan after months.Heats up fast and a good size for 1-2 people. I can fry a 16oz deli container of tots in 3 minutes, enough for 2 servings. Fries aren’t great, too much foaming for the size and harder to pull out. Fish, veggies, and wings all great. With an induction burner I can overload it and still barely stay in the temp range, pretty ideal. Rack on top is pretty useful, integrated thermometer works well.

Great size, thermometer is accurate, and convenient
It’s a nice vessel for frying as you would hope. The thermometer is really accurate which i wasn’t expecting. The pot is very sturdy and well built which might be why it heat evenly so the thermometer stays accurate. The drain grate is nice with doing a few items at once. I honestly have no complaints about this

Game changer for deep frying
Being able to see and monitor the temperature makes deep frying so much easier. There is also a opening on the back where you can pour the oil out which is pretty well designed. The size of the pot is perfect for deep frying a smaller amount of food. The one thing that wasn’t good was that the silver layer does come off if scratched.

compact and heavy.
Love this so far. Came on time. warning, thermometer is in Centigrade (easy to adjust, work in the marked red area). Also. the directions are in many Asian languages, but nothing else. Not that one needs directions. This cooks in small batches and uses less oil. Very heavy bottom.

Low quality - Paint comes off while using
2nd use, and the paint began chipping off on the inside? Little metallic bits of paint come off and stick to the food. Tried to rescue this thing by scrubbing all of this crud off from inside, but it feels unsafe to use for food. It should be an enameled coating, or straight stainless steel. I'd avoid this completely unless they get their quality solved.

Not just a tempurary solution to my frying needs. (Apologies for the bad pun)
I have a lifetime collection of great cookware (All Clad Copper Core, Creuset, Lodge, Calaphon, you name it) but this modest little pot is fast becoming one of my favorites. Some of my most satisfying kitchen tools have come from Asian kitchens, Japan in particular. Perhaps it is the small size of my kitchen that influences me in that direction.I noted that another reviewer had an issue with the coating failing. I would suggest NOT washing this pot in the dishwasher as it is likely to damage the finish of the pan over time. It is my practice to hand wash pans and cutlery in the sink as I cook, the dishwasher rarely sees anything but dishes and tableware at my house.I have used this pot every day for a week now, and I find it to be well thought out and easy to clean. I initially planned to buy a small countertop fryer but I just don’t have space for another dedicated single purpose appliance. When I discovered this item I realized I could meet the same need on my stove top, leaving the counters for better use. Some may be put off by the fact that the thermometer is marked in Centigrade, but the working range is marked in red, and it is easy enough to remember that 375F is about 190C. Besides, using metric measurements makes many cooking calculations a lot easier.Overall, I would strongly suggest that anyone with a need for a personal sized fryer give this a try.

Amazing deep fry pan but......
This is an amazing deep fry pan, works perfectly with very little mess to clean up. I really like included temp gauge, no issues with it reading in Celsius. Major problem is the delicate coating, after four uses the inside coating is damaged. Outside coating instantly wore off by contact with the stove burners. If this was an uncoated deep fry pan or the coating was more durable this would be deep fryer heaven.

Perfect in every way
My Japanese wife uses this pot it all the time. Heats quickly on the induction cooktop. Easy to control the heat. No splatter. Saves on oil. Keeps food hot. It's not very big, you'll be cooking 3 or 4 shrimp at a time.
