Great!
Great little stove, wanted to try it out before going camping with it and we went to the local forest and had some roasted marshmallows (it’s my birthday!) Handiest stove ever, compact, not too heavy and easy to set up and then easy to empty and cools down quick to pack away again. Definitely recommend

Brilliant little stove, and free to use when you collect your wood.
Brilliant little stove, and free to use when you collect your wood. I have the latest version that when put together is more sturdy than the previous model, real glad I bought the large version instead of the smaller one, and for me not heavy. How some people say it's heavy is beyond me ! Unfolds and packs away like a dream and the case is big enough, Make sure you have a good supply of dry wood (better cut small) as it eats it and burns very hot, that suits me fine a I do Wok cooking and perfect for that. It is not something you can light and walk away from as you have to constantly feed it with wood. I have a woodburner stove so easy for me to regulate, Pallet wood cut small is ideal but burns quick. I do not like relying on one thing alone so I have my Coleman gas burner as well. My advice is to use heavy duty pans and kettles if you can carry them as very hot for lightweight gear. I am so pleased with mine I am ordering a second one ! Not for Snowflakes ! Update, I made a couple of ad on mods ie the large grill that catches the ash at the bottom is a bit wide and lets embers fall through, easy fix take the mesh grate of a disposable bbq cut to size drop in (it can stay there when you fold up) As stated this fire burns very hot with flames licking up, too hot for gentle cooking, I cut 2 steel bars with slots that go across the top, then cut a bit of 3mm steel plate a bit bigger than top, for me this transforms the fire, the steel plate gets really hot, the fire does not burn so quick, great for frying, small kettle just as quick. I like hot sometimes for wok, but also like more gentle for fry etc, hence my plate solves that. I do understand that for a back packer all my clutter is too much. Horses for courses ! If you want to cook for free, just takes effort, and face it it is more fun !

Worth the money
Used this already to cook a pan of chilli and to sit round afterwards as a fire and it is a brilliant piece of kit. Dead easy to light, it has lots of updraught and throws off a lot of heat. Front door was hard to open when it got hot it seemed to stick. Metal and fittings do get too hot to handle with bare hands so wear sturdy fire proof gloves. Product description says can be used backpacking. It is a bit too heavy if you were out on a multi day backpacking trip but if out for one day with no other or not much gear to carry it would be ok. We go canoe camping so will be ideal for that. Overall this is a great product, great value for money.

very happy so far!
great bit of kit so far. cheaper than firebox etc and other expensive brands. This would be great in titanium. Not too heavy though, comes with case, folds out. Had blue sellofane already removed which ive seen in other camping videos you normally have to peel it all off. this was already done! I expect this to warp a bit upon use buy they all do anyway. Will update if any issues... NOTE: While handling the stove i did cut my finger by holding it by the open front door around edge which was sharp with a burr. Wasn't a big cut but i recommend filing the edges of the hole a bit.

Great and efficient camping stove if a little heavy for backpacking. Highly recommend for camping.
This stove is a great camping stove. It can support a surprising large fire and is efficient at producing a large amount of heat. Cooking is easy but food can cook to quickly if your not careful. A camping kettle capable of holding 1-1.5 litres will boil in just a few minutes; very handy for cold morning and evening! As a bonus, if you use rocks under the stove at a campsite you will not scorch the grass. It packs down to a good size and it’s a great camping accessory but the weight makes it unsuitable for backpacking in our opinion. I would highly recommend this stove to anyone and we are looking to purchase the smaller version. Very happy with the purchase!

'... and then the penny dropped ....
I bought this stove (Amazon - Prime) following good reviews, there are quite a few, of these cheaper models, on the market each with the drop down, quick set, burner shelf like the Bushbox (I can't think what else to call it - it's the tray on which the sticks etc burned). I wanted the option to raise the burner and this stove has three levels. This stove was up for sale, with a £1 discount, meaning it cost me approx £17 including postage (I don't know what it is in $US). Being purchased yesterday, Sunday, I was pleased when it arrived today (Monday). I eagerly opened the box and having examined the the ash tray, ash tray mesh and grill plate, I set to picking all the blue tape off the stove. So, that's the preamble, let's talk about the stove. It was a huge disappointment. I had to slide the provided pegs (tent pegs) through the holes in the sides of the thing to afford some semblance of stability. The grill plate was placed on top and I was ready to go. The fire lit well and burned very efficiently and easy to control - large, 1" diameter sticks meant I wasn't glued to the stove having to feed it all the time. However, the whole thing was unsteady with the sides moving, whenever they wanted to, on their hinges and the grill plate sliding about on the top with a continual risk of my pot falling off. I cursed - loudly. As for the two hinged handles - what on earth were they for??? Have a look at the pictures (screen captures from a YT video - acknowledgements to the YouTuber. I have posted, you can see the hinged handles and the issue the user (not me) was having opening the fire door. I suddenly realised, as per the title ... there must be a use for the handles and so it proved. Experiencing a flash of inspiration I lifted the handles, on their hinge, so that the handles pointed up, I bet you have already guessed!! Yes, the hinged, pointed up, handles slotted in to the ends of the grill tray. Once in place the grill tray cannot move and you have to physically manipulate the grill tray off the upright hinged handles. I could take a picture but, looking at the pictures I have posted, you should be able to work it out. All of a sudden I found I had a very efficient, very quick to set up and rigid stove (I didn't need the tent pegs - they are used to raise the burner nearer to the top of the stove), For sure it's heavier than I would like, I will use it when I go cycling, but, at least for now, it's my go to stove. Buy it. (Disclaimer: I have no connection with the seller, I purchased the stove, and this review is my own opinion.)

It’s the little details that let this stove down
I was surprised how heavy this stove actually was. I took it in a local woodland and tested it out. Even before I put it together I discovered the first fault. The hinge pins are loose and fall out easily. This could render the stove inoperable if you lost one at night. Second fault was the mesh grill which began to deform shortly after the flames reached it. Plus points. It was remarkably easy to light and keep fed with twigs and branches. It cooled down quickly and didn’t leave a burn scar. I will contact the seller about the faults and hopefully will get a positive response. I like this stove. I have previously only used hobo/homemade wood burning stoves & this one is potentially very good. I’ve now used it in woods & in my garden & same faults happened again. I will revisit this review when seller responds to my complaints
