Amazing way to cover big areas quickly.
Sometimes it is better to buy the original / best brand so I decided to replace another problem sprayer with this one.It works well, is well made and nice to use.It suffers from the same problem of wasted paint and horrible cleanup that all sprayers suffer from. It uses about 1.0 - 1.2l of paint by the time it is primed and reaches the spray nozzle. I haven’t managed to achieve spraying with no oversray / spray dust as claimed in the blurb but maybe more fiddling with pressure / practice may help.Finish achieved is perfect; I am not new to spraying but not a pro.

Steep learning curve, but once mastered, works well
The instructions are seriously lacking, but once mastered, this machine works well. Took me around 3 hours to figure out the quirks, so to save you some time:1. contract matt emulsion with the correct filter and nozzle (according to instructions) will need to be watered down by 10-20%2. the pick up / collector needs to be submerged well below the surface of the paint, otherwise the machine loses pressure, the pump stays on and the gun just dribbles. Its clear to identify, and happened repeatedly when the 10 litre paint tub got down to around half full (despite the pick-up being well submerged.3. cleaning is best done by pulling through clean water for a few minutes (with spray nozzle removed), then give the gun, filter and pick-up a thorough clean. You can avoid wasting paint by catching the watery paint in a container and use the next day to dilute your neat paint.its not quite as messy as I expected, doing ceilings goes everywhere as you might expect, but with walls its not bad, and the spray focus is pretty good. Its a nice bit of kit that will save time if you have a lot of surface to paint. Probably not ideal for the home, but warehouses, commercial premises etc., its ideal. And at this price, cheaper than hiring something similar.

A Game-Changer for Painting Projects, but Cleanup Requires Care
The media could not be loaded. I don't see the point of writing reviews on the item being delivered - we all know how good Amazon delivery is so what's the point? You want to know how I got on with the product right? - Here goes:I got got this sprayer for a large home renovation project, and it’s been an absolute game-changer! This paint sprayer is packed with features that make it an excellent choice for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals.Impressive Coverage and EfficiencyOne of the standout features of this sprayer is its incredible coverage. It easily covered 15 m² in just 2 minutes, significantly speeding up my painting project. Whether I was working with dispersion/latex paints or varnishes and glazes, the sprayer delivered a smooth and even coat every time. The time saved alone made this purchase worth it.Adjustable Spray Pressure for PrecisionThe adjustable spray pressure is another great feature. It allowed me to fine-tune the spray to suit different surfaces and types of paint. Whether I needed a lighter touch for delicate areas or full power for large surfaces, the ControlPro 250 R handled it all with ease. The 110 bar pressure is more than enough to get the job done quickly and effectively.Long Hose for Easy ManeuverabilityThe 9-meter hose is a fantastic addition, giving me plenty of flexibility to move around without constantly repositioning the sprayer. This was especially useful when painting larger areas, as I didn’t have to worry about being tethered too close to the base unit. It’s a small detail, but it made a big difference in the overall ease of use.Durable and Well-DesignedThe build quality of the WAGNER ControlPro 250 R is top-notch. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, designed to last through many projects. The unit is also surprisingly compact for its power, making it easy to store when not in use. The design is intuitive, and setting it up was straightforward, even for someone who isn’t a professional painter.Con: Tricky CleanupThe only downside I’ve encountered is the cleanup process. It’s quite tricky and needs to be done thoroughly to maintain the quality of the spraying. If you don’t clean the equipment properly, it can affect performance in future projects. While this is a bit of a hassle, it’s a small price to pay for the overall quality and efficiency this sprayer provides.Final ThoughtsOverall, I’m extremely satisfied with the WAGNER Airless ControlPro 250 R Paint Sprayer. It delivers on its promises with impressive coverage, easy adjustability, and a long hose for added convenience. The cleanup is a bit of a chore, but it’s essential to keep the sprayer in top condition. Despite this minor inconvenience, it’s been a great investment for my renovation projects, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient paint sprayer!

Follow the instructions and YouTube vids
Great product read the instructions and maybe watch some very in detail videos on YouTube to get some tips as I did. Easy to set up and get going, Sprayed the garden fence which was in bad need of a recoat as it was getting 5 years old. Jet washed it down then off I went. Once I got the hang of it lovely paint distribution and coverage very very happy. Highly recommend

Not for beginners
If you're a beginner like me, don't bother buying this product. You have to be expert and you have to know what you're doing. I had to spray a wall or spray anywhere. Just don't waste your money

Works well with decent paint
Bought this as we are moving house. Easy to set up. There are loads of YouTube videos explaining how to set it up if you prefer that to an instruction guide. You need to make sure you prep the area you are painting. Making sure you mask the areas you don't want painting. There is a little spray but so long as you mask it will be fine. You do need decent paint and I liked to have use a 10l matt for the walls. I tried 5l, but found it I used it quickly on 2 rooms. I also watered the paint slightly to help it flow - viscosity is key.I did living room (walls and ceiling) plus 2 bedrooms and kitchen. Took me 1h 30 mins to complete the job.Clean up is easy. Again there are instruction on You Tube on doing this. Took about 20 mins to clean the machine of paint. It did take me a few goes to get into the flow (no pun intended) but once you get the idea of viscosity, it is really easy to do and the machine does all the work for you.
