Plantronics Explorer 50 Bluetooth Headset – Black (Renewed)

I have tiny ears like freakishly tiny apparently since every bluetooth headset I've tried either hurts like hell or just falls off. Enter the plantronics explorer 50, this is the only headset I've been able to wear that stays on and doesn't hurt my ears even after a full day of wear. Its so comfortable I've literally forgotten it was in on several occasions. The sound quality is great, people on the other end say it sounds good on their end too. The battery life is also pretty good, I haven't tested to see if it's really 11 hours but it gets me through a day so I'm happy with it. I have 2 of these that I bought new and this one that is refurbished and I noticed no difference in performance. I would definitely recommend this headset new or refurbished.

I’ve been by these Plantronic Bluetooths for some years now, switching models as the new ones come out. I only buy the cheaper models, as I tend to lose them quite often. I’ve tried several other brands, however have decided I will only purchase Plantronics from now on, unless the price keeps going upThis model is super easy to use. I’m really surprised that not everyone is using this type device, at least while driving. I give them as gifts though and they don’t get used. I can’t understand why people want to hold their phone up to their ear.The battery holds a charge for a long time, It charges very quickly, the controls are simple and effective, and the volume is loud and clear. The only issue some might help with this model is that it is not very good at noise canceling. In fact, it tends to amplify background voices. So if you’re grinding coffee beans, about to hit something with a hammer, or pull a bunch of dishes out of the dishwasher, you have to warn the person on the other end. Otherwise, they will ask you what the heck you’re up to in an annoyed manner. A minor issue with the product though, as good noise canceling costs more.

Could have been a 5 rating, but I was unable to get it to charge. 3 different chargers, 3 different cables. Otherwise, great sound quality, easy to use, and comfortable to wear. For the 15 minutes if use before the battery died. But is totally unusable in its current state. Also this was a replacement for another unit with a bad call switch. These were ‘refreshed’ units, but should have been tested better. I had one previous to these which worked perfectly (until I lost it), and looked for a replacement. No longer manufactured, so beware of refurbished, or renewed units.

I have had 2 of these, they are lightweight, comfortable and have worked very well. I listen to audio books as well as talk on the phone and this headset is my favorite to wear while living my active lifestyle outdoors and raising a family. Battery life is good....I only wish they could survive a wash & dry with the laundry. LoL

I have now purchased/worn out 4 of these over the years!! I have an earpiece in constantly because of the work I do. When this one wears out, I sure hope this model is still available to buy yet again! So comfortable that I literally forget I have it in. My friend finally bought one after trying MANY others! Her quote " why didn't I just buy this one when you told me about it!?". She loves it too.

I own a Plantronics M50 that I used (and loved for it's comfort and sound) for years with my Samsung Galaxy S4, then with my S7, until after a number of software updates to my S7, the M50 began to cut out on media, as if the M50 couldn't keep up or something. So I needed a replacement.I first bought a noise-cancelling headset from another manufacturer, but because of its discomfort and awful sound (no treble), I decided to return it.Then, after reading several reviews that the E50 was a "perfect replacement" for the M50, I bought a refurbished E50. Oh, what a beautiful pleasure!! The comfort and sound (great treble!) of this E50 are as good as (if not better than) my M50, and the E50 doesn't cut out on media!I loved my M50 for as long as it worked with my phone, and I am so pleased that this E50 is such a great replacement.

Great item. Love the comfort and fit of the device. Only downsdie is battery life. My old Plantronics 55 battery lasted longer on a single charge. With the model 50, I have to chharge it every day.
