Excellent Bluetooth Car Kit – Easy to Use
I've only just got the Kinivo BTC480 Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit, but so far, it's working great. Pros: ✅ Crystal-Clear Audio – Calls and music sound great with no noticeable static. ✅ Brilliant Dual USB Charger – The included charger is a fantastic bonus, allowing me to charge my phone while using the kit. ✅ Easy Setup – Plug it into the aux port, pair via Bluetooth, and you're ready to go. ✅ Multipoint Connectivity – I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s a great feature to have. Useful Info: 🔹 Magnetic Mount – I don’t use the magnetic mount because my car has a perfect spot where the unit sits securely on its own, but it’s a nice option to have. Cons: ❌ Occasional Audio Issues – A couple of times, the audio has been really bad when connecting. It seems to be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting, but sometimes I’ve had to turn it off and restart it completely. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a bit of a hassle. Verdict: A solid Bluetooth solution for cars without built-in Bluetooth. The audio is crisp, the USB charger is brilliant, and setup is hassle-free. There have been occasional connection issues, but overall, it’s a great device for hands-free calls and music.

Works Well
So I recently got a new to me BMW 320D, which doesn't have Bluetooth for call's or music streaming but it does have a Aux Input in the arm rest. I knew about these type of adapters but never really thought about using one, until I realized just how much it would be to swap the head unit in the car thank's to BMW, which it's not difficult etc I could do it easily but I just don't want to have spend a small fortune to change it around £300. So I bought this as it was abit more expensive that most on here but, the reviews of this were great compared to the cheaper unit's and I actually found some YouTube videos on this as well which helped me to choose it. When it turned up I went out and installed it, all of 2 minutes thank's to there being a 12v socket in the arm rest next to the Aux Input. Opened up the bluetooth options on my Huawei Mate 10 Pro and it found and connected to it with no issues. Opened the music app on my phone and started playing some music and it played ok, sound quality is very good although there is abit of a hiss at louder volumes which I am trying to determine at the moment if it's the speakers or the adapter but it won't be hard to figure out. Either way I am very happy as it's saved me some money and even though it's in a closed arm rest and the phone is to the side of the steering wheel, there is no issues with connectivity other than the one my phone gives where it randomly disconnects, which I know is my phone because it does the same on my bluetooth headphones. If you have a car without bluetooth but it has a Aux in then this is a decent purchase if you don't want to change the head unit . Easily recommended.

Great device, great customer support
This review is for the btc480. Worth noting that most of the reviews here are for the btc450. So worth checking more closely on the reviews. Overall a great device, which I’ve been using daily now for three weeks. Installed on a BMW 3 series (07), with aux point in centre arm rest. The length of the cables allowed me to route all the wiring out of view from the centre arm rest the dash, so it does look built in. The puck like controller is small and unobtrusive so doesn’t look out of place on the dash. Connected each time with my iPhone with no issues. No interference, so no need for a separate isolator. Sound quality over music is very good. One thing to note is unlike the btc450 the btc480 doesn’t have aptx, which is capable of better sound quality. Seems strange given that the btc480 is supposed to be an upgrade? But wasn’t an issue for me as I use an iPhone, which doesn’t use aptx, and amazon music which only uses mp3quality but might be an issue for android users. Call quality is also very good both in the car and reports are good from people calling me or receiving a call from me. A few other reviews have reported that there is a big volume difference between music and calls. I did have an issue with this initially but it seems this was a problem with my iPhone rather than the device, so suspect that maybe true for others. Just need to ensure that call volume is set to high on the phone and then control the volume on the car speakers. For some reason at first the call volume on my iPhone kept defaulting to a low volume with each call, but after a reboot of the phone this resolved it. Also other reviews have reported an annoying beep from the device in between music tracks, again I did experience this initially as well as a beep when using google maps after every audio nagvigation alert. Again it seems this was an issue with the phone rather than device as after rebooting the phone, the beeps disappeared. The buttons on the device all work well, including two short presses to activate Siri on the iPhone, allowing you to control your phone by voice. The only reason I have made this four stars and not 5, is that the device only occasionally turns on automatically when I start the car. Most of the of the time after starting the car I then have turn the device on manually by pressing the multi function button. I did contact kinivo support about this, it seems this could be an issue with my car (BMW) which is started by start/stop button rather than key. It’s not a big issue as after starting car it only is a simple press of the button on the device and then another press to start music that was last playing, but would have been great if this happened automatically, occasionally this does happen but as yet can’t work out why. But despite the one issue mentioned above I would really recommend this device. Also when contacting kinivo customer service via their website chat support they got back to me straight away and were very helpful.

It really works!
This is well worth it! It went in my son's 15 yr old beetle. Now he can play music from his phone and make and receive calls through the original headset. Stick on installation, so simple. Fantastic price and excellent sound quality. The previous one had an annoying hiss. This one doesn't! Fantastic product.

Impressive
Been using this for a few weeks now and definitely well worth the money. Haven’t experienced any issues at all. Connects to phone every time without fail and has no problem playing music from Spotify (using iphone) Because this is a Bluetooth receiver and transmitter you can skip tracks without touching your phone, the old bill will happily give you points and a fine for even looking at your phone while driving so this is a feature that I wanted. It has a built in microphone which does actually work, everyone that’s called can hear me clearly. Just plug it into your aux, power it from the USB adapter that’s supplied, connect your phone via Bluetooth and you’re done. Had a few of these in the past and this is hands down the best one I’ve purchased

Dead 12V Adapter and Very Poor Call Volume
First things first, the supplied 12V cigarette lighter adapter did not work. Device powered up fine using my own similar adapter. Paired very easily with my iPhone 12 Pro and music streaming worked well. HOWEVER the audio volume when making and receiving calls was very poor indeed. Both sides of the conversation. I couldn't hear callers, they couldn't hear me. Only by turning the car stereo to max could I faintly hear people. (Then at the end of the call the music stream cut back in at a deafening volume). I tried all settings on the phone, volume on full in call etc but no good. Returned for a refund.

Great device while it lasted. I'd expect longer than 3 months when a 2 year warranty offered
This is a great little device when it was new. Fitted it to my sons 2007 Mini Cooper as there was no conectivity for hands free phone. The ability to stream music was a bonus and it automatically pauses when a call is made or received. The unit is small and discrete, I 3D printed a mount for it as the Mini dashboard is pretty busy and couldnt find anywhere suitable so made a cup holder adaptor for it and this also provided a stowage for the excess cabling from the device. There is a bifurcated cable hardwired to the little magnetic control pad, one leg is to connect to a USB port or supplied cigarette lighter power supply for power and an audio jack to connect to the cars AUX-IN port. Pairing with the phone is a 30 second affair and once set, it will automatically connect to the phone when entering the car and powering the ignition. It would have had 5 stars had it not died this week. A replacement has been received and I'm about to install it but if this one lasts a similar time, it'll be losing another couple of stars.

Great kit, need to budget for a ground loop noise isolator though
Kit does exactly what I need, stream music, no quality difference that I can detect compared to aux and takes hands-free calls. People I have spoken to on it say they can hear me fine so the microphone isn't trash. Can also use hey google through it to control the phone. Compared to using aux being able to skip backwards and forwards through tracks with the buttons is a game changer. Couple of caveats however, first if your accessory socket is permenantly live (Like it is in a lot of Fords) you will need to unplug it when you leave the car (or do what i've done and piggy back fuse off a circuit that turns off with the ignition) Next caveat is you will probably need a ground loop noise isolator, because the aux signal and the Kinivo are powered by the same source you get noticeable noise until you add one of these devices. I used the ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator which is the first result on amazon uk searching for the term 'Ground Loop Noise Isolator' and works great.

Molto buono
Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Montato e connesso in 60 secondi.

Excellent Bluetooth Hands-free Car Receiver with Voice Assistant Control
Kinivo BTC 480 Bluetooth Handsfree Car Receiver with Voice Assistant Control This is an excellent Car Bluetooth Receiver for great CD Quality streaming music and Bluetooth 4.0 for excellent call quality and the ability to connect two devices at the same time. I tested this with my Redmi Note 4 & Moto G5s Plus and it worked great for both. You can connect your both device at same time Unique to this device is the built-in Bluetooth code to initiate a voice assistant - either Siri on an iPhone or iPad or Google Now, or any other designated assistant on an Android phone or tablet. Plus, this device turns on/off automatically with your vehicle. This device really does turn any stereo system into a fully modern bluetooth equipped system. Package contains car charger also with two sockets which support 2.1A with 5V output, my Redmi Note 4 was charging fast with the charger.

Un conector muy bueno.
Sencillamente perfecto.
