I found this to be unreliable. I returned it once due to a defect and the replacement worked okay for several months and then ceased to work. Before doing so, it overflowed my aquarium! The water level it maintains tends to get wider and wider. There is also the issue that if there is a power cut, the settings are reset and it will not operate, so one cannot leave it when going on holiday with much confidence. It is overly complicated and unreliable. I have replaced with a Tunze unit which maintains a consistent level and if there is a power cut, it will not affect it, it will just start operating again when the power returns. I have yet to see how reliable the Tunze is as I've only had it running a month, but being German made and with a 5 year guarantee, I suspect it will be superior. It would be hard-pressed to be worse!

Bought this a few months ago and thought it was time for a review. Nice small optical ATO that has proven to be very reliable on a small nano reef tank. Easy to setup and and absolutely trust worthy. Snall pump is pumping RO water about 1 metre up with ease. Overall, a great value and trustworthy piece of kit!

Hmm, bit tricky to score as it does what it says but has some annoying features. 1, the pause light is blue, the on light is blue, albeit it ‘breathes’ ie a really slow pulse on off cycle. Extremely easy to not realise it’s in pause until your live stock is in distress due to increasing salinity or it’s dumping in RO while you are doing a water change. 2, hitting the pause button is temperamental and often hard to work out if you have actually paused it or un paused it, see number 1. 3, awkward one as it’s super quiet, a small noise or light it indicate it’s in operation would be good, see point 1 again. Note. It can go into overflow mode and pause automatically with a really helpful red light. We like that though it does seem a bit temperamental about this. I had to add a Cistern float type valve as a safe guard against it dumping liters of ro water in or nuisance tripping due to reasons not yet sussed. 3 out of 5 is fair I think, I’m still putting up with it but would not buy again.

Only problem that’s shown up is the tubing Could do with a kink free tubing Sorry to say Had to buy some new tubing as supplied item not fit for purpose . That apart easy set up and level warning if water level is wrong .

Fitted easily. Works as expected. Hopefully works long term.

Avendo in casa diverse vasche nel periodo estivo mi trovo a dover rabboccare l'acqua evaporata, se la vasca è piccola ci si sta dietro ma quando questa è grande diventa un vero problema. Per tale scopo ho acquistato questo sistema di rabbocco automatico, l'ho testato appena arrivato simulando una evaporazione minima e devo dire che dopo che l'acqua è scesa di pochi millimetri, il sistema ha attivato la pompa per ristabilire il corretto livello, ho ripetuto diverse volte questa prova e il sensore è sempre intervenuto in modo preciso. La pompa l'ho immersa in una tanica da 20 litri essendo piccola per mia fortuna è passata dal foro del tappo, la pompa riesce a spingere l'acqua tranquillamente nella vasca nonostante sia a livello pavimento. Nella confezione c'è tutto il necessario all'installazione, non manca proprio nulla, quindi che dire il prodotto è perfetto, completo e allo stesso tempo funziona bene. Dimenticavo lo utilizzo anche per i cambi settimanali d'acqua così non porto più su le taniche e fa tutto lui in automatico e la mia schiena ringrazia.

I can honestly say this ATO system has exceeded my expectations. I didn’t realize how much I needed an automatic top-off system until I installed this one. One of my favorite features is the sleek external controller. It gives me clear status indicators and easy controls without adding unnecessary lights or clutter inside the aquarium, keeping the display clean and distraction-free. Installation was quick and straightforward. For a cleaner, more finished appearance, I drilled a 3/8-inch hole in the back of my standby water reservoir to route both the water tubing and the DC pump cable. The result looks professional and keeps everything neatly hidden. Best of all, no more water lines from fluctuating water levels and no more manually topping off the tank every day. No funciona bien. Se suspende a cada relleno aún teniendo agua el depósito. Debes estar muy al pendiente a que no se suspenda (ponerse en rojo la luz), es lo mismo a estar rellenando en modo manual. Tendré que comprar otro que sea seguro en su funcionamiento.

Diese Nachfüllautomatik funktioniert tadellos schon seit Wochen. Keine Kritik notwendig.

Installation facile avec un manuel clair (même si en anglais, on s’y retrouve rapidement). Les deux capteurs optiques fonctionnent parfaitement et permettent de maintenir un niveau d’eau stable dans l’aquarium, avec une sécurité fiable pour éviter tout débordement. Le système est silencieux, la pompe est efficace et le boîtier est simple à utiliser (un appui long pour l’initialisation, très pratique). Bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande pour tout bac planté ou récifal qui a besoin d’un niveau d’eau constant.
