Works great after you figure out how to attach a weight.

i thought i had weights that could fit in these, but i was in fact wrong. therefore, i haven't used these with weights, so i cannot comment on how well they hold up and their overall effectiveness. however, i did complete the set up process anyway, which made me feel a little slow. it was honestly a little confusing when i first read the instructions. these seem like a little more work than necessary because when you work out you kinda wanna get in the zone quicker, but i can appreciate the somewhat lengthy set up since it reduces risk of injury, in my opinion. the strap gets really secure around the shoe and doesn't slip. though i couldn't see how much weight it could take, i put random items in it to test functionality. A+.

If you’re thinking of using these for large weights like 25 lb dumbbells, they don’t work.

I do love gadgets – anything that will save me time, energy and/or money. I saw this product and thought it would be great for me. Not so much. (Disclaimer: This review may be more about ME than the actual product but it is MY opinion, right?) Right out of the package I grimaced – too many parts, too many steps to attach it to my shoes, too much time spent in putting it on/off my sneakers. (Please notice my photos.) In other words this is just too much trouble. In all fairness, the product is exactly as advertised and IF you are not as impatient as I, then this may be a good addition to your work-out routine. I've been using these weight straps for a few weeks now and I think they work great. The velcro is very strong, and the straps themselves seem fairly tough. I use men's size 10 shoes and the straps fit me perfectly with only slight adjustments needed. While using the product, the weight seemed to stay in place and there was no slippage of the harness thanks to the rear strap that wrapped around my heels quite snugly. Overall, the product works well as intended. I think if you wear a smaller size of shoe than maybe the rear strap might not fully secure your foot but I have no way of testing that. I will continue to keep using this product and will update this review if any issues arise.
