Works just fine for my Lenovo ThinkPad R61 laptop
I brought this battery at a good price to replace my old battery that I had since 2010 that until a few years ago couldn't hold a charge anymore and is now a dead battery. How long this battery will last, only time will tell before getting another battery.

Good battery
I like because just plugged in and works great, It does not seems to last as expected, only about one hour, without charging.

A little large, but fits
Being a knockoff product, the physical tolerances aren't as good as they could be - it is hard to slide in and out or lock in place, and it sticks out of the bottom a little bit.

Bought as a quick replacement but found it to be a decent battery
Bought for a older T61 notebook and so far it is holding up.

Can't charge a dead battery. Not even when it's new.
Instructions said to DISCHARGE battery to 2% before charging to 100% for first use. Could not do that as battery was DEAD when received. Yes, 0% charge available on "new" battery. I tried three different power supplies, watched multiple online tutorials about holding the power button (with battery in or out) and never got any charging at all. So, I returned the battery for refund as it was useless to me. Time to move on and buy a newer, refurbished laptop. Since the Lenovo T61 was a free machine, I am only out out the time I wasted trying to get this battery to do anything. Lesson learned.

Not sure if the cells are old, definitely is lacking in longevity
Either these batteries are using low quality cells, or they're remaining new-old stock that's well past their prime. (Maybe both?) Since these T61s are approaching 15 years old as of typing this, it's getting more and more difficult to find batteries that have been recently manufactured. (Also, lithium Ion batteries only have about a three year shelf life without being charge cycled at least once. Otherwise they degrade from non-use.)I say this, because the battery manager in the OS reported 84% of the rated battery capacity right out of the box, and it's since degraded significantly from that. Only after about 10 charge/discharge cycles and now the battery only seems to last for an hour at best.
