Unlocking the Deeper Wisdom of the I Ching
"The Secrets of the I Ching" is a masterful exploration that deepens our understanding of this ancient text beyond its well-known role in divination. What sets this book apart is its integration of Korean Sasang medicine with traditional Chinese medicine, offering a holistic perspective that bridges philosophy, health, and personal transformation. Its insights reveal the I Ching as a living system of wisdom that informs not only our decisions but the very patterns of nature and human experience. This book is a must-read for anyone seeking a more profound connection to Eastern traditions, blending practical applications with timeless spiritual depth.

A GREAT INTERPRETATION OF THE I CHING FROM A TAO/ COSMOLOGY/UNIVERSE PERSPECTIVE.
IF YOUR INTERESTED IN UNDERSTANDING THE I CHING FROM A TAO/COSMOLOGY/UNIVERSE PERSPECTIVE; THEN THIS BOOK IS A GREAT READ. I HAVE READ MANY BOOKS THAT HAVE INTERPRETED THE I CHING. ALL THE BOOKS WERE DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND; AND THEY ALL EXPLAINED THE I CHING AS MOSTLY A BOOK ABOUT DIVINATION. I STILL NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE I CHING FROM A COSMOLOGY UNIVERSE PERSPECTIVE. THIS BOOK EXPLAINS IN THOROUGH, PRECISE DETAIL; THE COMPLICATED I CHING FROM A TAO/COSMOLOGY/ UNIVERSE PERSPECTIVE. THE BOOK EXPLAINS THE I CHING THROUGH THE USE OF CODES AND SYMBOLS; WHICH THE AUTHORS EXPLAIN IS THE MOST ACCURATE AND UNDERSTANDABLE WAY TO INTERPRET THE I CHING. THIS IS A GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT, BOOK. I FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE I CHING; AND I'M BLOWN AWAY BY THE AMAZING INCLUSIVE COSMOLOGY INTERPRETATION OF THE I CHING BY THE AUTHORS. THIS BOOK IS LONG AND THOROUGH. IT'S A WIDE AND HUGE BOOK. IT'S 490 PAGES; BUT IT'S REALLY 980 PAGES; BECAUSE THE AUTHORS PUT TWO PAGES ON ONE PAGE. THE PAGES ARE SPLIT DOWN THE MIDDLE, WITH ONE PAGE ON EACH SIDE OF THE PAGE. THE BINDING IS TIGHT FOR A PAPERBACK BOOK, SO THE BOOK SHOULD LAST WITH REPEATED USE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK FOR A MORE COMPLETE, INCLUSIVE, EXISTENTIAL, TAO/COSMOLOGY/UNIVERSE INTERPRETATION OF THE I CHING.

Great Book
This is a very good book, very informative. It provides a wonderful foundation in the basics of the I Ching. I haven’t seen any I Ching book in English that goes into the basics of I Ching in such a way. Authors tie the theory of I Ching all together by giving everyday and modern scientific examples. Every acupuncturist should read this book.It was also interesting to note that the authors explain how the entire Korean culture is based on I Ching. They cite examples of the Korean flag, customs, music, language, and so much more. The authors successfully explain the highest philosophy of the East in simple, everyday terms, and how the principles of I Ching demonstrate a close connection between various religions and philosophies. This book should be in any acupuncture school curriculum.

A Great Book For Beginners and Advanced
I began studying the topic of Yin Yang Theory in order to teach Eastern Philosophy in my university course. The information is deep and thoughtful, but explained in a way that is both inviting and digestible. In particular, the chapter called "Basic Principles of Yin and Yang" is an incredible resource. The authors explain 6 aspects of this ancient symbol and make it extremely practical and useful to every day life. And it inspired many conversations with my students, which after all, is the goal. This book is very insightful and enriching.

A Path to a Better Life
I began this book with great curiosity and interest but no knowledge of the I Ching. I quickly realized I had come to the right place. “The Secrets of the I Ching” is written for people like me as well as those who are more knowledgeable. It is comprehensive, clear, and beautifully structured to guide readers through a wealth of information that is both practical and mystical. It has helped me gain a better understanding of my true nature and how to establish balance within myself and my relationships. I applaud the authors for making the I Ching accessible to a wide audience. Discovering the secrets in this book is a path to a better life—and a better world.

Best I-Ching book EVER
I have been a student of I-Ching, The Tao, The laws of Yin Yang and the timeless wisdom of Eastern metaphysics for over 30 years. Never have I come across a book so masterfully written and so elegantly worded for anyone (new or educated) to comprehend and to put in their life the Truths of I-Ching.

Completely Fascinating.
Some of what I read I'd been familiar with, but the explanations of the similarities between source materials was really enlightening.

Interesting concepts
This book has been in my TBR stack for awhile. It is not one that you can sit and read unless you are a serious sucked of ancient ways and wisdom. I have started and stopped several times. The authors make an excellent effort to explain the far eastern concepts through our western eyes. If you are a studied of these ways then this book would be an excellent resource. I find it hard to understand their way of thinking in some areas and some seem downright superstitious from a western point of view. If you are making a conscious effort to understand, great book, It is well organized and as noted great efforts are made to make comparisons to Christianity but without trying to make some great conversion of beliefs. I was provided an advanced reader copy at my request but was under no obligation to write a review. The opinions expressed are my ow Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.
