Best rice authentic
I recently purchased Royal Basmati Rice and was very impressed with the quality. As soon as you open the bag, you can smell its natural, aromatic fragrance. The grains are long, slender, and don’t break easily. When cooked, the rice stays fluffy and separate—not sticky at all. I used it to accompany a homemade curry and also in a pilaf recipe, and both turned out amazing. It has a light texture and a mild flavor that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. It also cooks quickly, especially if you soak it for a few minutes beforehand. Overall, this is a top-quality basmati rice, perfect for fans of Indian, Asian, or simply elevated white rice dishes.I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended.

Fluffy delicious rice
This rice is so good! Fluffy, fragrant, and absolutely delicious—exactly what you want from a good basmati. Cooks up perfectly every time, no clumps, no guesswork. I’ve been eating rice my whole life, and this is hands down the best I’ve had lately. It’s restaurant-quality, but in my own kitchen. A total upgrade.*I’ve ordered this twice. The second time, one of the packages was delivered with a hole on the side—I don’t understand how things like this can happen. In any case, they refunded my money.

Good Cooking Rice for a Great Price
I have used this brand before, when it was available in actual burlap bag,the sturdy plastic bags arrived just fine.I always place food products into glass containers as this allows me to check the contents for any problems, easy to store & use. I cook my rice in an instantpot using these directions: 4 cups rice ( I saw no difference in rinsed or unrinsed rice) 4 cups water or broth.High Pressure/More setting at 6 minutes, quick release.Fluff hot rice well. This gives me perfect al dente rice every time, cooked tender but firm. Perfect for bowls of rice with sauces, soups, vegetables, fruits, meats added over.

Perfect rice every time!
Royal rice never disappoints. Whether I’m making a quick dinner or cooking for guests, this rice always comes out fluffy, aromatic, and full of flavor. It cooks evenly and doesn’t get sticky or mushy like other brands. I especially love how versatile it is—I use it for everything from curry dishes to stir-fry and even rice pudding. You can really taste the quality. It has that authentic, restaurant-style texture that makes every meal feel special. Definitely a staple in my pantry. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Delicious
I'm such a fan of true Basmati rice, and this is the best brand I've found. The American basmati rice versions (grown in the U.S.) I've tried just don't taste the same as the rice from the Himalayas. This cooks beautifully in my Zojirushi rice cooker (highly recommended) and comes out absolutely perfect. The price is also good, plus I've never seen this brand in any local stores.

I love organic rice. Basmati rice is my newest addition. Delicious, and easy to cook. Quick too! It must be the quickest non instant rice out there.

makes lovely long grain fluffy rice, good smell/taste when cooked, read on for more info!!
Ok, many of ya'll had me freaking out that I bought a 15 lb bag of plastic pieces. I gave the bag a sniff test, and couldnt pick up any aroma. Doesn't basmati rice emanate a luscious aroma? So I looked up other brands (well known) and saw similar comments about the rice not having an aroma. Then I decided that the only way I would know is just to cook some. First I added a little to a plain pan and proceeded to "toast" it on my gas top stove. I figured if there were plastic bits, I would see it, smell it right? Nothing unusual to be noted. Threw that out, and took fresh rice to add to my rice cooker (rinsed well first). I made according to my machines directions. As it cooked I could smell the aroma that I expected. When it was done, the pieces were perfect. Not sticky, totally fluffy. No gumminess. Tasted as it should. Then I wanted to look over the plastic bag within the burlap sack. In order to pull it out I had to pour out some rice. Glad I did this because once in a bowl (2 quart size), I put my nose to it and could smell the rice just fine. There's that aroma! After I pulled out the plastic bag with remainder of rice, I looked it over for holes, bugs, and debris. No bugs, no debris. I did see some tiny holes. Very small, and I could tell that they were/are most likely puncture marks from the rice. Not many, but enough for me to double bag it with another plastic bag I had on hand. Then I slid it back into the burlap bag and put back what I took out. Really, no problems. I had this at 4 stars, but once I really worked with it and looked it over, I can say that I am pleased. Very happy that the rice is in a plastic bag and not just in burlap.I would consider this again depending on price. I was able to get a 15lb bag for $20 (on sale). I can get 1lb bags at local $Tree for 1.25 per lb, so I didnt really save any buying this.. but it saved me a trip. This page shows old reviews, so it may be beneficial to change the viewing option to see "most recent first".
