NCA Review for the Clinical Laboratory Sciences (Book with CD-ROM) Subsequent Edition

This book is necessary for any faculty or student in the clinical laboratory science field. The questions are written in a clear and accurate format. The explanation is also clear and concise. It helps me a lot in putting exams and it would be a great tool for students to review before major exams and to test their readiness. I bought this book used for less than two dollars and it was delivered very quickly and it was as good as new .. thank you!

I purchased this book years ago and in my opinion it's better than other review books I've purchased. I like the fact that there are explanations for all the answers. You don't just get an answer and left to research why the answer is what it is. Understanding why you have an answer is very important when your dealing with taking an exam, especially a board exam.

This study guide was very helpful in helping me pass my certification exam. The practice tests were extremely helpful.

Bought for my daughter to prepare for her exam based upon reviews. She indicates though the science is valid the accompanying CD is of no use. It appears to be a 32-bit program and will not load on her Windows 64 bit operating system. The CD does say will work on Windows 95 or newer. Never really looked at the publication date and realized the accompanying CD would need special attention (in the form of an antiquated OS).

I liked this book because it provides a lot of questions for review, plus explanations for each answer. The CD has more than 500 questions, and scores them so you know right away if the answer is correct. The format of the CD test could be improved, but is a good simulation of the actual exam. I helped me pass the test...
