I love the soft texture and the flavors are wonderful. Yeah, it's salty and pretty darn expensive, but it's a snack and hits the spot during those interminablezoom meetings (when I'm not on camera).

Got this to substitute for the Beyond brand vegan jerky after it was discontinued. Love love love the black pepper, buffalo wing, maple bacon, and smoky BBQ flavors. The pepperoni pizza one is not my vibe and came off too salty, and the general tso was a bit odd, but not bad (actually could be good with general tso sauce over rice). If you're looking to try this brand, I recommend this variety pack. I've reordered ones I like and look forward to new flavors!

I was a jerky fan before I gave up meat and it was one of the few things I missed afterwards. I have tried 8 different plant-based jerky treats over the past few months, and I have to say this brand is the best by a long margin, in my opinion.Now, I know taste and essentially, the type of jerky you like, is a very subjective thing. So, I will try to break it down so that you can make up your own mind.- I found the salt level to be present, but not overwhelming. Some flavors are saltier than others, but I never had that feeling that my tongue was coated, or that all the moisture in my mouth had been sucked out.- Warning, this is a very moist jerky. I know some people like ones that are very dry and you need to physically rip it apart to eat it. This is not one of those.- I found the texture to be the most meat like, in a good way. The pieces vary in size, but they are easily consumable and it feels more like a grilled chicken breast texture. I have had a few that are drier, and in the process of eating, the protein got stringy and jammed in my gums. A few of the mushroom based ones are a lot better in that regard, but they seem slightly rubbery. This has just the right amount of chewy to be pleasant, without making you chew until the flavor is gone, or wondering what it's made of.- None of these have eye-watering levels of heat. I know some really enjoy that, but that is not what this product is. The Buffalo Dill is the spiciest of this collection. It has a good heat that will linger in your mouth for a bit, but I never found it overwhelming. The Perfect Pepperoni is the next spiciest, followed by the Smoked Black Pepper. The Maple Bacon and Southern Carolina BBQ are not spicy at all.- Not too sweet. I found 4 of the 5 to be sweet to varying degrees. I like that, but fair warning to those who don't. Still, it isn't so sweet that you think you are eating something candied.Overall, a fantastic collection of flavors that I will definitely repurchase, and be looking for more flavors to come.

So yummy! The texture isn't quite like meat jerky but its pretty darn close. And the flavors are so good! Its is a great choice for those who don't eat meat or are just looking to add more plant based protein to their diets!

Didn’t care for the flavor of the bbq, at all. The bbq was overpowering. The pepper is ok (you must really like pepper to find this good as it’s pretty strong) and maple bacon is pretty good, & I would buy that one again, on its own (I do wish they made a plain old traditional teriyaki jerky). The consistency is soft & chewy (a bit softer than animal jerkey) and I also like the protein content.

I like the variety packs. It provided me with a broad option of sustenance. Not too chewy and not too salty. Would love to try again!

I have been vegetarian for about 4 years now. This is my first ever Amazon review. The one thing I missed was beef jerky. This tastes so good. It has a nice texture and taste. I highly recommend it. I literally got back on Amazon just to write this review immediately after tasting!!
