The media could not be loaded.  Poor quality I waisted and lost my money

I’ve had this Beamer for over 10 years always prop the hood with a stick the trunk lid gave out which I have to have struts for really happy about the price so I wanna head and bought some for the front. Haven’t installed them yet that’s why number four was it as a star?

1995 540iI can see why you have to reuse the clips. The ones provided suck donkey nu//$. Save ur money, go buy at ecs tuning, or another bmw parts website.

Work well BUT spring clips would not connect on the studs. I removed the clips from the OEM supports and re-used those with the new supports. That worked OK. I used small vice grips to grab the clips and remove them from the old and new supports. I learned that trick from another review of the product so I am paying it forward . You may also be able to remove, bend and reinstall the new clips to make them work but I expect they may be brittle at the bend points.

This's few millimeters longer than the original and the hood wont close. Tried to return them but the process is time consuming.Stay away.

Sirven bien con el propósito por el cual se los compro. Son un buen reemplazo económico al original.Cuando los instale por primera vez eyectaban el capot, se sentían fuertes , después van perdiendo algo de presión o fuerza para levantar el mismo.Por su cómodo precio no se puede exigir mas calidad y en general los veo bien.Les concedo una calificación general de 7/10.

Tried for 30 minutes to put them on but no success, clips just don’t get in place, they’re different shape

8 to 10 mm too long, locking mecanism weak

Great product good quality...easy to install on my car

The clips included does not work, the clips not locking the lift to the car. Had to remove clips from old hood lifts and remove clips from new ones and attached the old clips to the new hood lifts. Just too much trouble and time to do it, it would be best if they include clips that work.
