I thought this was for a ukulele
I got this thinking that it was for a ukulele but it looks like it's a guitar fretboard. It seems solid and ideal for a project guitar. It's just as stiff and clean as you'd want such a thing to be.

Fret what?
It was shipped in an envelope which is unbelievable. Fretboards are very delicate. They snap and break quite easily. So an envelope with no packing material is not the way. The fretboard has many glue dabs that need to be removed. And the fretting is not of a professional quality or good quality . It was just slapped together. You definetly get a whole 18$ worth of a fretboard for a wall hanger.

Acceptable for the price
I’ve built a number of guitars and basses over the years. Normally, I would buy a rosewood fingerboard, cut the slots myself, and install fret wire. This is, of course, a lot of work. But at least you know exactly what you’re getting.I ordered this fretboard because I decided to make a scrapwood guitar, just for fun. So I wasn’t too worried about getting the absolute best quality fretboard. I think this one will serve the purpose just fine. But I will need to put a little bit of work into it. The surface of the front board is slightly rough in places, so that will require a little bit of sanding. The frets will have to be dressed as well. In some places, these are just really sharp. the banding around the fretboard is glued on a little imperfectly. But at least the front surface of the fretboard will show. The fret spacing seems dead on. Compared to my professionally made 25 1/2 inch scale Stratocaster, the frets match precisely. The fingerboard is a little bit shorter, but that only means a couple of fewer frets at the high end.I’m not sure what kind of wood this is made of, or even if it’s natural wood. But I think it’s definitely good enough for a scrap wood guitar. If you want to make an heirloom quality guitar, I would source all your materials elsewhere. But for a fun little project, I think this will do just fine.

Not worth it
Wrong size, again. Finger board very coarse. Fret bars are so sharp (not filed), could cut. Cannot recommend this item.

Bad bad bad
Just terrible. Had to redo the binding and replace the frets. Should have just got a pre slotted fret board. I don’t think it’s even real wood…

Be prepared to essentially build your own fretboard
Where do i start... this thing came warped, like hella twisted. Some of the fret wires were too short fro their slots, others were so long they were pushing the binding off the sides. The wood was very dried out, and not properly so. And the weird almost orange color was i guess supposed to look like brass?? More like ass. To make it work i basically deconstructed it and lucked out that i could switch some of the fret wores around to make them fit properly. If youre buying this because you dont have the time to make your own fretboard, i urge you to look elswhere, but if your buying this because you dont know how... then it might work out, cuz if you get it to work then you will have learned how to make one by the end if it lol
